Ulsan is no exception.
As the sun begins to set and a cool breeze starts to blow in the evening, stepping out of the house and heading to Ulsan Grand Park, a beloved spot for citizens to stroll and relax, leads to a special event waiting for you.
The city of Ulsan has launched its second nighttime event following last year's 'Ulsan Night Story Night Market'.
The 'Garden Night Market', themed 'Urban Garden', is currently gaining popularity.
From food to performances, experiences, and games, Ulsan offers a special summer night filled with excitement!

Ulsan Grand Park is a place I often visit, as it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the East Gate from my home along the Yeocheon stream.
Upon hearing the news about the 'Garden Night Market', I decided to visit several times for exercise, starting from the opening day to the weekends when the event is held.

If you are driving, the East Gate parking lot and the main gate parking lot are convenient for reaching the event venue.
The event is taking place in the grassy area near the entrance to the Memorial Tower in Ulsan Grand Park.
Whether you walk from the main gate or the East Gate, it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the venue, making it an easy stroll.
Ulsan Grand Park has well-marked signs and guides throughout the area, making it easy for first-time visitors to find their way.
As I walked towards the event area, I encountered a beautiful landscape that made me pause.
The sight of the green grass and tall trees along the walking path created an exotic atmosphere, reminiscent of a park in Europe.
As I continued to stroll slowly, enjoying the charm of Ulsan Grand Park, I soon found myself close to the event venue.

Event Hours: Every Wednesday to Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Arriving a bit early before the lights turned on, I explored the event area.
The grassy area at the entrance of the Memorial Tower in Ulsan Grand Park is where the event is held.
Admission is free.
Anyone can visit without hesitation and enjoy the festive atmosphere of a summer night.
However, please note that there are separate fees for food trucks, food booths, experience programs, and amusement rides.
In the food truck zone, various food booths are on the left side as you enter the grassy area from the East Gate, while multiple food trucks can be found on the right side.
One of the joys of the event is certainly the delicious food.
The food truck zone offers everything from fries, chicken skewers, hot dogs, and chicken to snacks like bingsu, yogurt, and gelato, along with refreshing drinks.
As darkness falls, enjoying a cup of coffee while listening to busking performances would be a lovely way to soak in the summer night atmosphere.
There are also various food booths facing the food truck zone.
Refreshing bingsu, Sikhye, yogurt, and other sweet treats catch the eye.
I downloaded the 'Welcome Ulsan' app and received a 3,000 won discount coupon.
Thanks to that, I got a cup of chilled Sikhye for free.
Remember, the 'Garden Night Market' does not sell alcohol to ensure a comfortable and safe viewing environment for visitors.
Enjoy refreshing drinks and various foods while experiencing a wholesome and delightful summer night festival.

Participating in the roulette event, I won a 'pen'.

From silver accessories to African succulents, handmade dolls, and practical items, there is plenty to see.
As I walked towards the Metasequoia Forest path, I found experience booths offering a variety of activities.
Programs include pottery making, face painting, and creating various crafts.
Especially, there are special experience programs in the Metasequoia Forest with themes like 'The forest where starlight lingers, a time to rest the heart'.
For a fee of 20,000 won, these programs run every Friday and Saturday.
After exploring the event area, take off your shoes and enjoy the natural feel of the forest with a barefoot walk.
As night falls and the lights begin to twinkle, Ulsan Grand Park reveals a different charm.
There is a photo zone set up against the backdrop of the flower clock tower.

Next to the photo zone, the 'Amusement Ride Zone' is popular with children.
Here, you can enjoy a 'children's train' and a 'carousel'.
The 'children's train' comes in two types: 'can train' and 'duck train'.
For 2,000 won, you can ride once.
The carousel is also available for 2,000 won per ride.
As the gentle lights illuminate the area, the romantic atmosphere of the summer night deepens.
Busking performances will soon begin to fill the night with romance.
On July 29, the opening performance featured the Five Brothers (fusion jazz) and Lee Sang-woong (Singer Gain 4).
