Spicy & Addictive: Discovering Mala Skewers in Yeonnam-dong!

Today, I was wandering around Yeonnam-dong when I saw people eating red skewers on the street.
Intrigued by this bizarre sight, I was drawn in and I'm here to share my experience at this Mala skewer place!

There were already two teams waiting...
While walking from Yeonnam-dong to Hongdae, I noticed people enjoying skewers on the street!
It wasn't in our plans, but we decided to join the queue.
The prices are so reasonable, around ₩1,000 each!
We checked out the menu while waiting outside.
They have a wide variety of Mala skewers! LOL
Everything looked so red and delicious, I was so excited! (/≧▽≦)/
As soon as we entered, we grabbed a basket
and picked the skewers we wanted to try.
Since there were people waiting behind us, we quickly chose a few.
We had already eaten, so
we only got three skewers and gave them to the owner.
(￣y▽￣)╭ Ohohoho.....
Next time, I'll definitely have Mala skewers with beer!
You can choose the flavor and seasoning level of the Mala skewers.
We ordered level 2 with a normal amount of seasoning (╹ڡ╹ )
Actually, I initially asked for less seasoning, but the owner said it wouldn't taste good,
so he recommended normal seasoning, and I changed my order based on his recommendation LOL
After ordering, you wait outside for a short while, and they quickly bring out your skewers.
They have a self-service bar, but we went with simple is best!
We just grabbed our skewers and ate them as they were :D
The weather was nice, and since there wasn't really a designated eating area,
we just ate them on the street in front of the store ♪(´▽｀)
It was definitely a classic combination of spicy and savory, so delicious!
You MUST order the cheese stick, highly recommended!
It might be a little spicy, but the cheese balances it out perfectly.
The stretchy cheese adds to the fun too ~~
It seems like they are also recruiting franchisees.
Honestly, it was so delicious, I hope
they open more locations! I want to go again ㅠㅠ
I've seen this food a lot on Reels,
but I never expected to visit this place by chance LOL
It's very flavorful, but I will definitely visit again! 100%
