Although he did not receive formal education, he learned Hangul from his mother and began writing children's songs, leaving behind warm and lyrical works such as 'Snowflower' and 'Spring Letter.'
Though he lived a brief life of just 34 years, he published around 70 works, leaving a significant mark on Korean children's literature.
One of the must-visit spots in the park is the stone monument dedicated to his representative work, 'Spring Letter.' Despite his physical challenges, he sang of hope through beautiful lyrics, and his spirit continues to inspire many today.
