Reflections on the New Year
Hello, Happy New Year
Hello everyone, Happy New Year!
Even though it feels unreal at the beginning of the year,
I really dislike getting older.
I have officially entered my mid-20s.
New Year’s Day Moments
Things I did on New Year's Day:
Countdown at KINTEX, listening to 'No Pain' as the first song of the year, seeing the Dragon Pony youth, taking photos with Kadapan, and catching a taxi while shivering in the cold.
It was fun though...
My 2025 will truly start and end with a band.
2025 Year-End Summary
Here's my year-end summary for 2025:
A total of 37 performances, including 12 band concerts.
(March) May 5th Club Tour in Seoul, Day6 National Tour in Gwangju, Chuncheon, and Busan.
(May) Day6 Finale Concert, Peak Festival Day 1 and 2, Makers Markers Solo Festival.
(June) Muju International Film Festival.
(July) Tune Up 26th Anniversary Concert, Daegu Indie Scene Festival, Soundberry Festival, Incheon Open Port Festival.
(August) Pentaport Day 1 and 2, Demisoda Concert, Gukata National Tour Encore, Touched Solo Concert, Mega Field Festival.
(September) Muse On Day 6, Gwangjin-gu Office Rock Festival, Ulsan Whale Festival, Busan International Rock Festival.
(October) Kkachisan Solo Concert, Sinful Madness, Hongdae The Sub Festival, Guminpe Gukata Halloween Concert.
(November) Solutions Solo Concert, Uhwa Gukata Club AOR, Exidiz Encore, Gukata Egu Concert, Woods Index Concert.
(December) Gukata Nut30, May 5th Dream Forest Band Concert, Lidoor Solo Concert, Feathers, Kadapan.
Things I Achieved This Year
Achievements over the year:
1. Becoming an Interpark VIP.
2. Going to KINTEX at 6 AM.
3. Following band members back.
Still, it was enjoyable.
All thanks to the band members.
And to my favorite mates, I love you!
Looking Back and Ahead
But I only started going to see bands from May...
How many performances will I attend in 2026?
I'm really scared.
Anyway, while 2025 had its tough moments,
I think it was a year filled with good connections!
I feel like I’ve created so many memories this year.
But still, go away and don’t come back!
Best Performances of the Year
Now that the year has ended, let’s pick the best performance of the year:
Solo Concerts:
1. May 5th Busan Club Tour.
I almost missed the last KTX train, and I had to work the next day,
but I loved it so much.
2. Gukata National Tour Encore.
It was a concert I was lucky to attend after the encore was postponed due to an issue.
3. Lidoor Solo Concert FEATHERS.
I had a tough time choosing between Lidoor and Solutions, but Lidoor won!
It was just amazing.
Festival Highlights:
1. Pentaport Rock Festival.
Unlike last year, it was a fun experience.
2. Surprisingly Soundberry Festa.
3. 2025-2026 Countdown Fantasy.
Ending 2025, Welcoming 2026
I plan to travel to Europe in 2026.
Despite the regrets, let’s shake them off.
In 2026, I hope to be more generous to others and myself.
Ugh, I don’t want to get older.
Here’s to being 25! Let’s write my blog diligently this year.
