"Spending 300,000 won on certification courses, 500,000 won on IT training for building qualifications, and several hundred thousand won for resume reviews and interview consulting..."

For today's young job seekers, preparing for employment has become a serious financial burden beyond just an issue of effort. According to a recent survey by Job Korea, job seekers who have experienced private educational services spend an average of 4.55 million won annually, nearly 380,000 won monthly. This means that before young people even navigate the tunnel of youth unemployment, they are already carrying the heavy burden of educational expenses.

In response to this reality, the Gyeonggi Job Foundation has launched the Gyeonggi Job Portal, Jobaba, to significantly reduce the economic burden on job seekers and enhance their practical employment capabilities. More than just a public website for information dissemination, Jobaba offers a variety of comprehensive employment support services entirely for free, including online job training, one-on-one tailored resume reviews, the latest AI competency tests, and career counseling.

Proven Success with 40,000 Reviews and a Satisfaction Rate of 97.2

Going Beyond Formal Reviews with One-on-One Feedback

Since its launch in 2019, Jobaba's resume review service has gained a stellar reputation among job seekers. Ten professional consultants meticulously review and provide feedback on resumes in a personalized manner.

As of the first half of this year, the cumulative number of reviews has reached an impressive 40,250, with a user satisfaction rate of 97.2. Users have praised the service, stating, "Despite being free, the detailed feedback and examples provided for each question were incredibly helpful," and "I was overwhelmed writing my first resume, but I was able to clarify my direction."

Reflecting Hiring Trends with an 80-Minute Full Course

AI Competency Tests and 126 Free Courses

In light of the increasing AI-based hiring processes, the newly introduced AI competency test service has also received a warm response. Job seekers can experience assessments that simulate real hiring environments, including personality assessments, strategy games, and mock interviews, allowing them to prepare without mistakes. Additionally, follow-up support programs, such as strategy lectures for test-takers, will continue to expand. A total of 126 diverse online job training contents, including certifications, language skills, and AI-related fields, are provided for free, serving as a solid support for job seekers preparing for employment through self-study.

Customized Services Linked with 41 Universities and Vocational High Schools in the Capital Region

Efforts to Enhance Accessibility for Young Job Seekers

Jobaba is also actively working to improve accessibility for young job seekers. Currently, it operates a 'school-customized service' in collaboration with 41 universities and vocational high schools in the capital region. Various programs tailored to each school, such as credit recognition for attending Jobaba Learning Center courses and mileage scholarships, are being conducted to actively support youth in their employment endeavors.

Practical Employment Tips Full of Real-World Information

Beyond reducing direct costs for job training, the Jobaba platform is filled with essential practical information for job seekers. Notably, the 'Employment Tips' bulletin board reprocesses complex public policies and employment information into intuitive card news formats.
