Getting My Ears Pierced Again After Years: A Review of Persia Piercing in Daegu

I actually got my first piercing right after starting university, in the university district. Now, after about a decade, I decided to get another piercing, and I'm here to share my experience with you.
I remember my first piercing being so painful that I couldn't sleep properly for a whole month.
But surprisingly, the piercing I went through so much trouble to get didn't close up for years... until it finally did last year! (I was shocked...)
The painful memory was so vivid that I was hesitant to get pierced again. However, during a recent trip to Daegu, I decided to visit Persia Piercing, a place that's been famous for piercings since my university days, and get it done again.
Also, since my earrings weren't symmetrical, I decided to take this opportunity to get a new piercing on my left ear to match the right.
Persia Piercing is a handmade piercing and accessories shop located at: 12-2, Dongseong-ro 2-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu (opposite Seongnae 1 Administrative Welfare Center). They are open daily from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
This place has been in the same spot since 2006, so if you're interested in piercings or earrings in Daegu, you've probably heard of it or visited it at least once. Even I, living in another region, had heard about it because of piercings, and quite a few people around me had gotten their piercings done here.
Their skills are already well-known, so from the moment I decided to get pierced again, they were my top choice!
The moment I stepped inside the store, I felt a unique atmosphere.
What especially caught my eye were the handmade accessories. There were many exotic designs inspired by Persia, Thailand, India, and Nepal.
The colors and patterns were so unique that it felt like I was wearing a small work of art rather than just decorating my ears.
There were also many unique items such as scarves and clothing, making it a feast for the eyes.
Review
Before the consultation, the owner kindly examined my current ear condition and gave me advice on which area would be best for the piercing. The phrase 'kind free consultation' was spot on.

I decided to get the closed area re-pierced and add another piercing to my left ear as a new focal point, matching the earring on the right.
The disinfection process before the procedure was thorough, and I felt relieved by the cleanliness.
The procedure was over faster than I thought. I felt a slight pressure as the needle went through the cartilage, and then it was done. For the earring area, they brought a newly disinfected needle and quickly pierced through. Both were done without the pain I was worried about!
Now I see why people come here to get pierced!
The closed area was neatly re-pierced, and the new piercing on my left ear was beautifully placed as desired.
After it was done, I felt satisfied because my appearance in the mirror looked completely different.
The store's unique atmosphere was even more apparent after getting pierced.
I thought there were many unique designs that I couldn't find elsewhere, and it turned out they design them themselves!!!
This place is a must-visit for those looking for their own unique accessories.
Also, the owner looked familiar, and I wondered where I had seen them before. It turned out they were on the show "Welcome, First Time in Korea?"
They appeared in episodes 11 and 19, and the warm and free atmosphere from the show was felt in the store as well.
Seeing the scenes from the show reminded me of seeing a celebrity.
They also gave me detailed instructions on how to care for the piercings after the procedure, so I've been managing them well without any worries since coming home!!
If you want special designs and piercings in Daegu, I recommend this place, one of the famous piercing spots in Daegu.
Especially if you like unique accessories with a Persian, Thai, Indian, and Nepalese vibe, you'll be highly satisfied.
