Exploring Ulsan's Taehwa River National Garden: A Spring Stamp Tour

Hello, this is the official blog reporting team of Ulsan Metropolitan City.
The Taehwa River National Garden in Ulsan is participating as an operating institution for the 'National Arboretum and Garden Stamp Tour' to enhance interest in arboretums and gardens and strengthen cooperative relationships.
Starting in 2022 with 18 institutions, it has now expanded to over 60 public and private arboretums and gardens across the country collaborating in this initiative.
In Ulsan, you can collect stamps at the themed plant arboretum and the Taehwa River National Garden.
The spring flower festival at the Taehwa River National Garden is currently in preparation, making it a perfect opportunity to create fun memories with family and friends during May, the month of family.
The timing of the stamp tour coincides beautifully with the spring flower festival, and I am filled with anticipation as I embark on this journey!
At the 'On-Site Information Center' near the Meeting Square of the Taehwa River National Garden, you can receive a stamp book.
After passing through the Tree Ecology Park from the Meeting Square, you will approach Osan Square.
The Taehwa River National Garden Information Center, located about 700 meters from the information center shown in the photo, is where you can pick up your stamp book.
Fortunately, the weather was not too hot, and I arrived at the information center quickly while enjoying a leisurely walk.
The center, with a total area of 725.3㎡, provides assistance for visitors to the national garden.
✅ The first floor serves as a resting area where anyone visiting the Taehwa River National Garden can relax comfortably.
✅ The second floor consists of an information desk, exhibition hall, and a souvenir shop.
✅ The third floor houses offices, an education room, a promotional hall for Fit Aou Dolph, and the rooftop is designed as a sky garden.
The on-site information center is located on the first floor of the Taehwa River National Garden Information Center.
When I requested a garden stamp passport from the staff, they promptly provided it to me!
Right across the way, there is a stamp available that recognizes participation in the arboretum and garden stamp tour.
The special secret to collecting flowers and memories lies within this stamp.
As you fill each stamp, it feels like you are creating your own plant guide!
One minor disappointment was that the stamp I pressed onto my passport did not align perfectly with the design on the back.
I wanted to document my first garden tour stamp beautifully!
Regardless of the area, if you collect three stamps, you will receive a companion plant tool kit, which can be picked up in person or delivered by mail.
Additionally, for every three stamps collected thereafter, commemorative coins featuring native plants will be provided.
By filling out a commemorative coin application form at the stamp tour operating institution you visited, the National Sejong Arboretum will send the souvenirs by mail.
To date, over 100,000 stamp books and more than 20,000 coins have been distributed to the public, showcasing its immense popularity.
We encourage you to refer to the locations of domestic arboretums and gardens where the 'Beautiful Companionship' stamp tour is available and fill in your passport!
