※ This post covers an April visit, and currently, the Shasta daisies are in full bloom.
As the warm sunlight bathes the land, we find ourselves in a season where the freshness of green becomes more vibrant.
This time, I visited the Hamann Akyang Ecological Park, which is renowned for its fantastic 'Pink Muhly' that paints the entire park in shades of pink every autumn.
From September to October, this place buzzes with countless visitors from all over the country.
However, did you know that it is also a popular spot in April and May, thanks to the blooming flower turf and Shasta daisies?
During my recent visit, instead of the vibrant festival atmosphere filled with pink waves, I experienced a serene landscape where I could slowly embrace the essence of spring amidst gentle breezes and lush greenery. I would like to share the quiet spring whispers of this tranquil setting.
As soon as I entered the park, the spacious ecological pond greeted me. On a windless day, it reflected the scenery perfectly, resembling a beautiful painting.
Walking slowly along the well-maintained garden offers a moment of leisure, as if I were wandering alone through a quiet garden.
Strolling along the long wooden deck and fence surrounding the pond, I felt my cluttered mind becoming clear and organized.
Though April isn't peak flower festival season, the park is quietly infused with the vitality of spring.
The carefully maintained lawns and newly sprouted green leaves fill the space with fresh greenery.
Having only seen the usually bustling Akyang Ecological Park, encountering such a quiet and serene landscape felt strangely delightful.
While not extravagant, the scenery of April invites you to stay comfortably for a long time.
There are benches by the pond where you can take a moment to rest.
Surrounding areas are dotted with untouched dandelion seeds, and I found myself blowing one away, recalling childhood memories of doing the same.
Along the walking path, there's a large red square frame structure that contrasts beautifully with the park's greenery, making it a great photo spot.
The scenery within the frame feels like a piece of art captured in a picture.
The children's forest experience area is filled with various facilities made from natural materials like wood and ropes, making it an ideal playground for kids.
It serves as a living natural education space where you can personally experience the changing seasons.
Especially around the forest experience area, the paths are smooth, allowing families with strollers to navigate easily.
Scattered throughout are wooden benches and resting spots, along with ample play areas for children.
While kids play joyfully, parents can sit back and enjoy a leisurely break.
In the center of the park, a white telephone booth becomes a popular photo spot when the Pink Muhly is in full bloom.
This autumn, I already look forward to seeing how beautifully the Pink Muhly will blossom.
Additionally, the white bell-shaped structure located at the riverside viewpoint stands out even more on clear blue sky days.
Taking photos against the backdrop of the blue sky adds a refreshing touch.
Near the entrance, the pink 'AKYANG' typography sculpture is a must-have photo opportunity when visiting the Akyang Ecological Park!
Even without the pink Muhly season, it looks beautiful against the green landscape, but with the pink waves, you can capture unforgettable photos.
The current tranquility of Hamann Akyang Ecological Park is part of the preparation for the upcoming Shasta daisies in May and the pink Muhly in September and October. While it may seem like a tidy dirt path with green sprouts now, it will soon be filled with the awe of many visitors.
Experience the beauty of spring at Hamann Akyang Ecological Park, where well-kept gardens, open landscapes, and hidden photo spots await.
