Exploring the Taehwa River Skywalk

Wow! I heard the news that it opened, but I was really surprised.
There were so many people waiting to use the Skywalk, and the facilities were quite impressive.
Visiting in person, I understood why it was so popular.
First, I used the public parking lot on the roadside leading up to Taehwaru from the Taehwa River National Garden. It was paid parking, but only 500 won for 30 minutes, which was quite reasonable.
As I got closer, I could hear a lot of noise. There were kids screaming with excitement.
Finally, I arrived at the Taehwaru Skywalk and saw many people waiting in line, which made me think it was a big deal.
Since it's winter and I thought there weren't many places to go, I realized I was mistaken. You should definitely get out of the house and visit!
Admission to the Taehwaru Skywalk is free. No prior reservation is needed; you just need to come and wait your turn to enter.
The operating hours are from 9 AM to 8 PM from November to February, with the last entry at 7:45 PM.
The operation hours for the swing and net facilities are different: from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM. So, if you're planning to visit, make sure to check the times.
Additionally, I recommend making a reservation for the swing and net, as the wait can be long.
As my turn approached, I felt a mix of excitement and anticipation! I was curious about what it would feel like to walk above the Taehwa River.
Upon entering, there was a staff member to guide us. Following their instructions, we had to wear plastic shoe covers. The machine automatically puts them on, which was quite convenient.
The reason for the shoe covers is likely to prevent scratches on the glass surface. If you look at the photos, you can see that the floor is made of glass.
While I've walked by the Taehwa River, this was my first time walking above it. It's not very high, but it gives a thrilling sense of perspective. I noticed some elderly people passing by seemed a bit scared.
The swing is a highlight of this place and is very popular. It can accommodate two people, and although the ride lasts only 4 minutes, it leaves a strong impact.
I would recommend it as a date spot for couples and an outing location for families.
If you come with kids, be sure to check out the net facility below. It's made of mesh, allowing for play with large balls and jumping.
Interestingly, it seems that fathers enjoy it even more than the kids! It offers a thrilling experience while also bringing back childhood memories. I highly recommend this as well.
The final attraction of the Taehwaru Skywalk is a sculpture shaped like a dragon's head. It shares the origin of Yeonggeumso and symbolizes good fortune and prosperity.
After visiting, I truly felt it was well-made. I believe it will be recognized as a new attraction in Ulsan.
Restrooms are available for convenience, and it would be nice to stop by Taehwaru right next to it. If you're looking for a place to visit with your child during the vacation, I strongly suggest you check it out.
