따뜻한 추억

Hello everyone! It's Sidong!

I visited the Seoul Design Week DDP Design Fair, which is currently being held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza!

I've been very interested in home decor recently as I prepare to move, and Heriter, a brand I've been eyeing on 29cm's IGU Home, was said to be here, so I went right away!

The Dongdaemun Design Plaza is directly accessible from Exit 1 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station.

The Design Fair is being held in the Art Hall.

There's a large banner, so just follow it!

The fair is running from October 15th to October 19th, so be sure to visit before this Sunday!

The location is Art Hall 1,2 A1.

If you're coming from Exit 1, it's easier to find the entrance if you don't go over the bridge-like overpass and instead go down below.

On-site tickets are priced at ₩15,000. Re-entry is not allowed after entering with your ticket.

No outside drinks allowed!

There's also an Instagram follow event where they're giving away a large and great-quality tarpaulin bag.

Be sure to get one!

This year's Design Fair is quite large in scale.

If you follow the triangular displays, you'll find the 29cm Home Apartment.

You can see representative brands at the 29cm Apartment first. They also had Heriter products there!

This year's 29cm Apartment concept consists of a total of 4 Zones.

The themes are: Maximalist in Life, Praiser of Rest, Silent Gourmet, and Romantic Pragmatist.

You can choose the theme you like best and experience it more in-depth.

I chose the Silent Gourmet, and Heriter was there!

I was so excited to see their products in person!!

I especially wanted to see the Heriter Essence Cutlery series.

They were also holding a raffle event inside the Apartment experience booth.

The neck, inspired by the angles of the eaves of traditional Korean houses, and the smoothly connected handle felt really comfortable to hold.

What I liked most was that all the products are the same length, so you get a sense of balance as you use them!

I love the unified feel.

The simple yet distinctive details were really my style.

They look similar to typical Korean metal spoons, but the touch of sophistication gives them a completely different feel.

That's why they can give a luxurious impression to anyone without feeling intimidating.

I also entered the Essence Cutlery full set event!

This is an event you can only find at the DDP Design Fair, so be sure to participate!

Now, let's go find the Heriter booth in earnest.

The Heriter booth is located in the center of Zone 3, the Silent Gourmet Zone!

As soon as you enter the Silent Gourmet Zone, just go a little further inside, and you'll find the Heriter booth!

The elegant and traditional-looking booth was so pretty.

The DDP Design Fair is also holding various events.

They are giving away Heriter shopper bags to the first-comers, a 100% winning lucky draw with a chance to win products worth up to ₩700,000 when purchasing over ₩70,000, and engraving services for purchases of table mats over ₩200,000.

It was full of great events.

I was excited about the lucky draw and the shopper bag.

This shopper bag was really pretty.

It's as big as a Costco shopping bag and has Heriter's unique sensibility.

Be sure to get one!

There's also a free shipping benefit for purchases over ₩80,000, so you don't have to worry about being burdened even if you buy multiple items.

Now, let's take a look around the booth in earnest.

The booth was largely divided into two parts: an exhibition hall where you can see the products at a glance, and Gyeonghoeru, which incorporated Heriter products in a sensuous way.

First, I'll show you the exhibition hall.

They had all the Heriter cookware, kitchenware, tableware, kitchen decor, and artist collaboration products that I wanted to see in person.

This is the Heel Glass from the Heriter X Yang Yuwan Handmade Glass Collection.

Since all products are handmade, the slightly different shapes are also attractive.

Inspired by the traditional Korean 'gob-jan' (stemmed cup), the unique and Korean shape is so pretty.

I was surprised by how luxurious the stainless steel and silver table mats were.

They're much prettier in person.

These are easy-to-manage table mats that can be used semi-permanently, are easy to clean, and are waterproof.

They don't leave fingerprints, so they're really convenient to use.

They're also antibacterial and have a burn-proof coating that prevents scorch marks even when you put a hot pot on them.

It's a perfect table mat not only in terms of aesthetics but also in terms of practicality.

It is also dishwasher safe.

It goes well with the Essence Cutlery, doesn't it?

It's a design that goes well with any dining table color.

I was worried that stainless steel would be heavy, but it was surprisingly light.

I took a picture of this engraving sample because it was so pretty.

The Heriter table mat would be a great housewarming gift or a gift for newlyweds.

The double-walled glasses were also so pretty.

You can keep both cold and hot drinks in them with the double-wall structure, while also adding a unique touch.

They're made of high-quality heat-resistant glass and are safe to use in the dishwasher and microwave.

I especially liked the blue Gaya series.

I was able to appreciate the Pottery Mug and Heriter X East Edition glass one by one.

All the products are Korean yet luxurious, so I wanted to bring them all home ㅜㅜ

Heriter is also very famous for its knives.

A knife that brings the skills of artisans and reproduces them in a Korean style.

The unique walnut octagonal handle is so stylish.

If you come inside, you can now see Gyeonghoeru.

The Heriter website

Gyeonghoeru, a space for welcoming guests, was decorated so beautifully with Heriter products.

Because Heriter products contain Korean beauty, the space itself was so pretty.

I was able to see more of Heriter's various products here.

I enjoyed looking around even more because there were descriptions of the products.

It was even better to see, touch, and decide on the products I was usually interested in.

I really wanted the table mat and the snowflake plate.

I really need to bring them home later.

They will turn our dining table into a high-end restaurant!

Lastly, I'll end this post by introducing a video with all the products.

I got a cutlery set.

The discount rate is good, and you can see various events, so be sure to visit during the Design Fair!!

It's the best chance to get a bargain, with up to 50% off all products.
