Hello!

This is Kim Soon-jeom from Ulsan Nuri.

This article follows my previous one about the attractions to see in Ulsan.

Even in the freezing cold, I find myself thinking about the sea. It seems that the beach is always delightful, regardless of the season.

This time, I visited Jujeon in Ulsan's Dong-gu.

On that day, the sun seemed to be in no rush; it hadn’t even put on its shoes by the time I arrived.

So, I took my time capturing the scenery around me.

To start, let’s enjoy the cheerful sounds of the pebbles as they dance with the waves.

While filming, it didn’t seem like much, but when I sent it to the kids in Seoul, they loved it.

There’s something about the scattered stones in my heart that feels like they’re being organized by the sound of the pebbles washing in and out with the waves.

If you feel the same way after listening, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Isn’t it strange?

While the waves wash over with white foam, why do the rocks always appear so dark?

The sunset casts a warm glow over the rocks.

Next, I adapted some information from the Ulsan Dong-gu Office.

Jujeon Coast, one of Ulsan's twelve scenic spots, curves along the mountainside from Nam-mok, where cherry blossom branches form a beautiful tunnel.

Along the 1.5 km coastline, round black pebbles stretch out, creating a stunning view.

In Jujeon, aside from the pebbles, there are many unique rock formations like yellow rocks and shingle rocks.

At the end of the cherry blossom tunnel, Jujeon Village meets a beautiful coastline, making it a popular driving route.

Moreover, the sound of the pebbles becomes more vivid when you close your eyes, almost as if the sea is washing away the pebbles or vice versa.

Recently, a sculpture erected in Jujeon enhances the clarity of the sea and amplifies the sounds when you look through or listen between its circles.

It feels like both thoughts and emotions are being rounded and refined.

This is the administrative service office at Jujeon Pebble Beach, conveniently located for easy access.

How do you feel?

Does your restless mind feel a bit calmer?

Gathering pebbles at the beach is something everyone does at least once.

The moment you find a favorite stone among countless pebbles is quite enjoyable.

This little café on the side road is popular and often crowded due to word of mouth.

While good coffee is a must, the hospitality of offering other drinks is also appreciated.

In fact, there is a café road that stretches along the coastline connecting Dong-gu and Buk-gu.

Various cafés with beautiful exteriors and elegant names line the coast.

Coffee enthusiasts might enjoy a drive along these streets while sipping their favorite brew.

As this is a coastal area, it’s good to know evacuation spots in case of earthquakes or emergencies.

Knowing the locations of public life-saving devices can also be useful.

I took a picture standing between the sea and the Jujeon sea marker, and it turned out beautifully.

How about you take a shot too?

Despite the cold winter, couples and families frequently visit.

Unlike sand, pebbles don’t stick to your feet, making it safer for everyone.

Living outside, temperatures can drop below zero, but don’t we sometimes feel a fire burning inside?

On days when the sky is as clear as clean glass, yet our minds feel like muddy roads with rain, it’s a good idea to listen to the sound of pebbles being washed by the blue sea.

Especially for those visiting Ulsan from places without a sea, I highly recommend it!
