Wanju Daedunsan Fall Foliage and Cable Car Experience
Even during the short 6-minute ride, you can fully enjoy the charm of Daedunsan.
During the ride, the broadcast introduces the history and hidden attractions of Daedunsan, which was fascinating.
Dongsim Rock, a representative rock of Daedunsan, is estimated to have formed about 3.5 billion years ago. Looking at the rock that has endured billions of years from the cable car, I could feel the wonder of nature anew. The two pine trees on Dongsim Rock were so cute and charming.
Above Dongsim Rock was Brother Rock, and according to the broadcast, the Donghak soldiers were once stationed behind this Brother Rock. Thinking about how they came up and endured in this deep mountain, I felt a pang of sadness.
Unfortunately, the fall foliage was just starting to turn when I visited.
It was a little disappointing that there was still a strong green energy, but the beautiful fall foliage is said to be at its peak from next week. I recommend visiting from next week.
Geumgang Suspension Bridge (Shaking Bridge) Samseon Bridge
After getting off at the upper station, you can reach the Geumgang Suspension Bridge (Shaking Bridge) with a walk of only about 5 to 10 minutes.
It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to climb, but there are iron stairs on the steep mountainside.
The 81m high and 50m long red Geumgang Suspension Bridge connected the majestic rock peaks.
Below your feet, there is a deep valley and layers of mountains, giving you the thrill of walking in the sky.
Although the bridge is said to shake less, you could feel your heart pounding because the altitude was quite high as you walked.
Anyone can try it unless they have severe acrophobia, and you can get a great shot if you take a picture in the center of the bridge. The panorama of Daedunsan seen from the suspension bridge was impressive. The mountain range spread out at eye level, serving as the best observation deck.
After crossing the suspension bridge, you will be immediately connected to the road leading to the Samseon Stairs, the end of Daedunsan thrill.
If you enjoyed the wonderful view from the suspension bridge, it is now time to choose whether to challenge the Samseon Stairs or return to the cable car station.
Samseongyo is a steep iron staircase at about 51 degrees. So, it is the most thrilling and thrilling course, but it is narrow and steep, and it is structured to rely on iron railings, and it is one-way, so going downhill is absolutely prohibited.
Wanju Daedunsan Visit Review
The colorful autumn foliage was just beginning, but the magnificent rock formations and beautiful mountain scenery of Daedunsan itself gave an overwhelming impression.
The harmony of rocks, dense trees, and occasionally colored leaves was wonderful.
The Daedunsan Cable Car was a truly grateful presence that allowed anyone, regardless of gender or age, including those who are burdened by mountain climbing, children, or parents, to easily enjoy the beauty of this magnificent Daedunsan.
Thanks to the cable car, I was able to meet the thrilling autumn at the Geumgang Suspension Bridge without a difficult hike.
I want to see the scenery when the fall foliage is at its peak again, but I suddenly imagine how much more beautiful the fantastic snow scene would be with the bizarre rocks of Daedunsan covered in pure white snow.
