Experience the New Taehwa River Skywalk

A new story has been added to the Taehwa River.
A new space where nature, city, and time converge in Ulsan has finally revealed itself.
On December 24, 2025, the Taehwa Skywalk, a symbolic landmark over the Taehwa River, was officially opened.
The Taehwa Skywalk serves as a central hub connecting the Taehwa River National Garden, Taehwa Pavilion, and Taehwa Market, forming an ecological, cultural, and tourism belt.
It’s impressive that it is designed as a 'stay-type space' where people can linger, experience, and enjoy, rather than just a simple viewing facility.
The scale is also considerable.
With a width of 20 meters and a length of 35 meters, it offers an expansive structure over the Taehwa River that is overwhelming from the first impression.
The Skywalk features a fountain, landscape lighting, and a media facade on its exterior.
During the day, you can enjoy the scenery of the Taehwa River, while at night, a completely different atmosphere emerges with lights and visuals.
Facilities for swings and net experiences are also provided for children.
This space is not just for walking but offers a hands-on experience where you can feel and relax.
Above all, the ability to overlook the riverside scenery is a major advantage.
Experiencing the views from above the river provides a different emotional impact compared to existing walking paths.
Rest areas designed for tourists to naturally linger and spend time are scattered throughout the space.
These spots are perfect for taking photos or just resting briefly.
It was fascinating to see the shoe covers provided for glass protection.
For those with particularly small or large feet, additional covers are available.
In the evening, the media facade will showcase videos themed around Ulsan's nature and industry, creating a new night view that is expected to become a nighttime attraction in Ulsan.
The dual appeal of this space, offering both day and night experiences, is truly captivating.
Even for those who couldn’t make a reservation, just walking on the glass and enjoying the view of the Taehwa River makes it worth a visit.
The aerial swings can accommodate two people at a time, allowing a total of four to enjoy the magnificent Taehwa River from above.
Children under the age of 6 can use the facilities when accompanied by a guardian.
Utilization time is limited to 60 minutes per session, with 50 minutes for the experience and 10 minutes for entry and exit.
The maximum number of users per session is limited to 30, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Safety personnel’s guidance and instructions must be followed at all times during the visit.
Wearing shoes that may damage the facility or pose safety risks, such as high heels or spikes, requires caution. In such cases, visitors must remove their shoes to use the net facilities.
The Taehwa Skywalk is not just a viewpoint but a space that encapsulates Ulsan's present and future.
It transforms the scenery of the Taehwa River into a new place where nature, city, and daily life intersect.
Experiencing the new Ulsan from above the Taehwa River is highly recommended.
This space will likely be remembered as a special place that enhances the winter days and nights in Ulsan.
