This summer, why not enjoy a refreshing break at your local public library in Gyeonggi Province? With a variety of cultural events accompanying your reading vacation (Book+Vacance), it's a great way to escape the heat. While it would be wonderful to travel often, we can't always do that. Discover new books and enjoy vibrant experiences at the library this summer! We introduce various events, including summer vacation special lectures, late-night reading camps, and media art experiences, taking place in 315 libraries across 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province.
Experience a reading vacation at 315 libraries!
Gyeonggi Province has 315 public libraries. There will be a rich array of events, from reading classes for children and teenagers to humanities courses for seniors and adults.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Library will operate a 'Late Night Library' during the summer vacation from July to August, hosting overnight reading camps. Additionally, a 'Media Art Rest Area' featuring an LED wall and ASMR sounds will be set up, allowing visitors to enjoy a cool indoor space for relaxation and cultural experiences.

Namyangju Jeong Yak-yong Library will host a discussion on 'The Power of Literacy in the AI Era' with EBS producers Min Jeong-hong and Kim Ji-won, who planned and produced works like 'Your Literacy', 'Literacy Kindergarten', 'Your Literacy Plus', and 'Literacy Illiterates', on July 18.
