Tracing the Forgotten Kingdom of Jomun-guk
The Uiseong Jomun-guk Museum(의성조문국박물관) is a dedicated space to explore the history of Jomun-guk, an early state that existed in the Uiseong area before being incorporated into Silla in the 4th century. It is a must-visit destination to understand the roots of the region.
The museum operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM. It is closed on Mondays, January 1st, Seollal, and Chuseok. The best part is that admission is free, making it an accessible cultural experience for everyone.
