A new multi-cultural space has opened in Ulsan.
Located at 62 Baekyang-ro, Jung-gu, Ulsan, it's called Taehwa Cultural Complex Mandi.
It is right across from Baekyangsa Temple, and the building is large and beautiful, making it easy to find.
Mandi aims to be a space where 'culture becomes everyday life, and my life becomes art,' showcasing the best content infused with local cultural pride.

There is parking available in the basement, and a spacious parking lot directly across the building.
Recently, I visited a special exhibition titled <> held in the Light Room at Taehwa Cultural Complex Mandi.
The Light Room is an exclusive screening venue for media art created through collaboration among top talents in various fields such as art, music, film, fashion, and science.

The Light Room begins with a special adventure titled 'Humanity's Moon Exploration Journey,' narrated by Hollywood star Tom Hanks, known for his love of space.
This immersive experience presents the heroic stories of past Apollo missions from a new perspective, featuring interviews with astronauts participating in the upcoming Artemis program, all woven into a documentary film.
The video, digitally remastered from thousands of original photographs taken by 12 astronauts on Apollo missions 11 to 17 using medium-format Hasselblad cameras, offers a vivid glimpse into space missions.
Surrounded by five screens on four walls and the floor, the Light Room provides an immersive exhibition experience, making you feel as if you are aboard a spacecraft.
From the launch scene of massive, grand rocket engines to the emotional moments of humans arriving on the moon, and the breathtaking views of Earth from the moon, the 50-minute journey in the Light Room offers a cinematic experience that feels like walking on the lunar surface.
While the content may be a bit challenging for children due to subtitles, it is highly recommended for those who love space and media art. It is a great place to visit alone or with a partner or family.
As I left, I noticed a gift shop. I was tempted by the colorful bags but managed to pass without buying. ^^;;
