Hello, I'm Hoo-ut!

Today, I visited the Demon Slayer pop-up store after successfully making a reservation on its opening day.

I went with high expectations, but I was quite disappointed, so I'm leaving a review.

I'll also share information about the benefits, on-site waiting, reservation line, and more.

Demon Slayer Pop-Up Store Information

Location: Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch 1F Open Stage

Dates: August 16, 2025 - August 31, 2025

Entry: Up to one companion allowed.

ID Required: (For both reservation holder and companion)

Impressive sight

This is the entire Demon Slayer pop-up store as seen from above.

It's completely open on all sides, so you can see the inside.

My reservation was for 8 PM.

I arrived around 7:40 PM, and there were about 40 people in the pre-reservation entry line.

Entry started right on time.

The pre-reservation line moved quickly right at the scheduled time, and I entered after waiting about 10 minutes.

Wonderful picture

You've probably seen the merchandise lineup already, right?!

There were no sold-out items on the first day.

There were purchase limits of one item per person for certain items.

The cutest thing was the entry benefit.

Attractive picture

You need this entry benefit to enter the Demon Slayer pop-up store.

What I don't understand is that they check the reservation details and the reservation holder's ID.

Entry is not allowed if the name doesn't match.

I understand up to this point.

My companion also had to show their ID.

(Companion's ID is required!!!!!!)

My companion's information isn't on the reservation details,

and they don't record the information to prevent duplicate entries,

they just glanced at it. I didn't understand why they were doing it.

Were they just checking if I was Korean...? I couldn't figure it out.

Life-size character standees were at the entrance.

Amazing scene

The height difference between Gyomei and Muichiro was hilariously noticeable.

After passing the character standees, you enter the Demon Slayer pop-up store.

I took a picture of Tengen because I selfishly thought he was handsome.

Even Enmu, who is now ( ) , is there.

I hope he's doing well over there...

The merchandise was fully stocked, as expected on the first day.

It seemed like about 50 people were crowded in at once,

but you could browse with a bit of waiting.

Valuable experience

There were so many kinds of merchandise, including clothes, random badges, pillows, hats, figures, charms,

keychains, stickers, and more.

Destroy All Demons.

I bought merchandise related to it because it looked the coolest.

I could almost hear "Umai! Umai! Umai!"

The Rengoku zone.

Happy time

There was only a Rengoku mascot doll.

You could see the actual merchandise on display in one area, not on every shelf.

Purchased with my own money:

Wonderful picture

A Destroy All Demons keychain and a chain pin badge.

Sabito's fox mask and even a crow... cute, right...

I bought it because it's slightly subtle and cute.

₩12,000 each.

Demon Slayer Pop-Up Store Review

I was surprised to hear that the on-site waiting line for those who didn't make reservations was full and closed by the time the staff arrived in the morning, after people had been lining up all night.

It seemed like many people were waiting on-site.

Even though I like Demon Slayer...

Unless there's specific merchandise you really want to buy,

I don't think it's worth coming all the way here.

There aren't any special events unique to pop-up stores.

It just feels like a merchandise shop.

I didn't expect much since it was free entry, but it was even less than I expected.

The Olive Young Ghana Chocolate pop-up was cuter..............................

Anyway, if you like Demon Slayer and you're coming to Shinsegae Gangnam Terminal to eat dessert and go to a good restaurant,

I recommend stopping by.

Coming from far away just for this? I don't recommend it!
