Cozy Vibes at With Bar in Hongdae & Hapjeong!
I visited With Bar, a place with a great atmosphere located between Hongdae and Hapjeong.
I found it through online searching, and the reviews were so good that I had high expectations. We visited for our second stop of the night after having some delicious samgyeopsal!
We sat at the bar. The atmosphere was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and seemed like a true expert in cocktails and whiskey.
They have a lot of unique cocktails here, special creations that you can only find at With! The ideas are great, and the taste and presentation are both amazing.
I really loved the interior design and highly recommend it as a date spot. There were quite a few tables available, but I sat at the bar. The cushions and chairs were so comfortable that I could tell the owner put a lot of thought into it.
We ordered the Movie Star, Summer Ship, and 21st Century Cigar. So unique, right?! They also had a huge selection of whiskeys. The whiskey menu was so extensive that it took me a while to read through it all! They had Japanese, Taiwanese, and Irish whiskey, as well as cognac, champagne, tequila, and more. There's something for everyone, even if your group has diverse tastes!
This is the Summer Ship. It has a truly mysterious flavor, with a subtle yogurt taste. I could taste all the ingredients listed on the menu. I was really looking forward to the 21st Century Cigar! It had a wonderful aroma and flavor, very luxurious.
They serve shrimp chip-like snacks as a basic appetizer, and they're so good.
You can tell the bartender your preferences, and they'll even make you a custom cocktail!
This is the Movie Star! They give you a hat to wear and take an instant Polaroid photo, which was so much fun! They serve the drink with the photo, creating a great memory. The drink is served in a glass inside a popcorn 'fondue' concept.
The bathroom is very luxurious and located inside With Bar, which is really convenient!
I highly recommend With as a cocktail bar in Hongdae and Hapjeong!
