An Unforgettable VR Experience for Adults in Ulsan

Last weekend, while working as a blogger for Ulsan City, I visited the VR experience zone located on the first floor of the Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center in Unyang.
Honestly, I thought, "VR is probably all the same," but after experiencing it, I was amazed that such quality was available for just 3,000 won! It was a surprisingly engaging and immersive space.
On the first floor, there are four VR facilities available:
1. VR Rider
2. VR Theater
3. Paragliding Experience
4. Interactive Sketch Will
Some experiences are paid, while others are free. The VR simulator is an incredible deal at just 3,000 won per session!
Typically, a single VR experience costs at least 15,000 won, making this the best value VR experience in Ulsan.
For the VR Rider, I was worried about long wait times after purchasing my ticket, but I was lucky to board almost immediately! They even took care to ensure that no people were visible in the photos.
The VR Rider features two themes:
1. Rescuing a stranded person in the Yeongnam Alps
2. Bobsled and ski simulation (staff recommendation)
The staff recommended the bobsled experience as the most fun, so I went with that.
Conclusion? It's hard to find a place where you can have a 4D experience at this price!
The chair movements, wind effects, and immersive screen made it feel like I was actually riding a bobsled. I usually struggle with VR motion sickness, but this was short and intense, making it easy to enjoy.
Even as an adult alone, it was not awkward or childish; it was genuinely fun.
The paragliding experience allowed me to see the stunning landscapes of the Yeongnam Alps. The VR perspective revealed breathtaking natural scenery, which was surprisingly moving.
This experience is highly recommended for those who find real paragliding intimidating or want to view the Yeongnam Alps from a unique angle.
The Interactive Sketch Will is the only free experience available. It features a coloring activity where the colored pictures come to life on the screen. While it may appeal more to children, it's also intriguing for anyone interested in new media technology.
I only took a quick look around, but it was a well-designed space for a free experience.
Next door is the Alps Cinema, where tickets are priced at:
- Regular movies: 7,000 won
- 3D movies: 8,000 won
It's great to see the latest movies at these prices, so I plan to return to catch a film later.
They also offer free parking, spacious waiting areas, a café, and comfortable seating, making the facilities really convenient.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place for adults seeking a unique and affordable experience in Ulsan.
Next time, I plan to include a visit to the Alps Cinema as part of a half-day itinerary.
