Excited to see Chiharu Shiota's solo exhibition that I had been anticipating, I headed to Pyeongchang-dong after work.

The harmony of humanity and nature is beautifully present there.

Although the uphill climb is as steep as in Haebangchon, Pyeongchang-dong is wonderful because the mountains are so visible.

After the rain, the rain-soaked grass seemed even more vibrant.

Personally, Shiota's exhibition was less impressive than I had hoped.

I was expecting a grand installation, but considering the venue, it didn't quite have that majestic feel.

Still,

seeing the solo exhibition of an artist I had wanted to see was a small joy in my daily life.

Hopeful Tomorrow
