A Weekend Getaway in the Heart of Seoul: Regional Tourism Antenna Shop - Paldo Jewelry Voyage

Struggling to decide where to go every weekend? I highly recommend the place I visited today!
Located right in front of City Hall Station Exit 3, the Regional Tourism Antenna Shop - Paldo Jewelry Voyage exhibition is being held at the Seoul Hall of Urbanism & Architecture.
After a stroll along Deoksugung Stone Wall Path with my partner, we stopped by and felt like we traveled across the entire country right in the middle of the city. Plus, admission is free!
I highly recommend this Seoul exhibition for dates, family outings, or a weekend of healing.
????️ B1 Underground Exhibition Hall – A Journey Through the Country with Your Five Senses
The exhibition starts on the 1st basement floor inside the building.

The experience involves exploring each booth and collecting a piece of jewel. The main point is to create your own keyring with the pieces you collect at the end.
My partner and I made couple keyrings, and they felt like meaningful souvenirs filled with memories of the day.
1. Make Your Own Keyring
It's not just a simple piece of merchandise, but the result of missions you've completed yourself, making it more meaningful. It's a souvenir that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment, like, "I really had fun today!"
It was a short but delightful time for all five senses.
2. Paldo Scent-s Atelier
A space to experience the country through scents, colors, and textures. Your own moment remembered by scent and felt by touch!
The ethereal beauty of Cheongju Chojung mineral water and the refreshingness and curves of Chungbuk reservoir's aquamarine were totally my style.

3. Paldo Soundscape – Sensational Photo Zone
This is an amazing photo zone! ???? Sitting in a space decorated like a train car and putting on headphones allows you to enjoy the sounds and scenery of the region you choose.
I chose Sokcho, Gangwon Province, and the wind and waves of the beach, along with the blue sea video, made me feel like I was sitting in a small tourist spot in the city.
Plus, the photos came out great, so I got some amazing shots! I bet this place will soon be a popular spot for Seoul exhibition dates and photos. ㅎㅎ
4. Paldo Backpacking Lounge
A mini test corner to find out your travel preferences. I chose a film camera, book, and hiking shoes → Healing activity traveler! My recommended destination was Seopjikoji in Jeju.
My partner and I compared results and laughed for a while. Honestly, the underground exhibition was worth more than just a Seoul exhibition.
It wasn't just about viewing the exhibition, but a hands-on experience that was really fulfilling and fun. I thought, "Ah~ this is really a great place for an indoor date in Seoul!"

????️ 1F Goods Shop – Bringing the Country's Sensibilities Home
After having fun in the basement, the first-floor goods shop awaits you. It's filled with items representing 10 regions across the country!
There are many wonderful works and practical souvenirs, making it fun to browse. You can actually buy them, which is even more enjoyable.

Among them, my favorite goods were:
Jeonnam Goryeo Celadon
Knitted Bag (₩12,800)
Its name is 'Dyed in Jade'. A sophisticated bag that unravels traditional colors into knitwear. The combination of tradition + modern makes it perfect as a daily bag.
Gyeongbuk The Ellong
Plate (₩2,000) & Mug (₩15,000)

The refreshing yellow color seemed like it would brighten the kitchen atmosphere. Perfect as a couple's mug!
Chungnam Boryeong Mud
Travel Amenity Set (₩13,000)
A must-have for me, who travels more than once a month. Because it contains Boryeong mud, I have high expectations for skincare.
Since there is even fun shopping at the goods shop, isn't this the place to visit in Seoul? The prices are reasonable, so there are more things to buy than I thought.
???? Rooftop Pop-up Store – September 10th Stamp Tour
The images are placed here.
We visited on September 19th! A special stamp tour was being held on the rooftop. The course was structured like this:
Seonbi Gate: Experience the Seonbi style (Take a photo with a gat + fan)
Tea Room: Personal herbal tea test (I got bellflower tea, and my partner got jujube tea ????)
Garakjeong: One round! Korean traditional music quiz (surprisingly fun + educational)
Pungnyu Garden: Waterfall photo spot (Healing photo spot thanks to the refreshing sound of water)
Juan-dang: Make your own Juan table (Cute miniature experience)
Local Government House: Bonus stamp for visiting
The gift we received after completing everything was a Cheongju apple juice, a local product. Drinking the sweet and sour fruit juice with the rooftop view made me feel like I was finishing a trip.

The pop-up is only held every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and the experience programs change every day. It's good to check on the @antennashop_seoul account before visiting.
