A Visit to the 'Our Lives, Minhwa' Folk Painting Exhibition in Insadong
서울특별시 종로구 인사동11길 16

Today's post is about my visit to the 'Our Lives, Minhwa' folk painting exhibition, where my sister's art is being showcased!
The exhibition is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the annex building of The Prima Art Center. However, only the main building appears on maps, so you'll need to search for the actual address, 'Insadong 11-gil 16,' to find the exact location!

Here's what the building looks like. It was super close to my workplace, so it was easy to get to right after work!
The entrance is slightly tucked away, but you can enter the building by going into the alley.
There are so many beautiful and Korean-style artworks. It's a shame that the location is a bit off the beaten path in Insadong, where there are tons of tourists.
The exhibition runs for about a week, from October 15th to 22nd.
The interior staircase looks a bit intimidating at first, but go on up!
Ta-da! From the outside, you wouldn't guess it, but there are so many pieces on display, not only on the 2nd floor but also on the 3rd!
The inside was actually quite spacious. If you want to see everything closely, it'll take a while. Let's take a look at the pieces on the 2nd floor.
I couldn't find my sister's work on the 2nd floor, but I found it right away when I went up to the 3rd!
Ta-da~! This photo is going to be the thumbnail for my post.
Last time was her debut exhibition, and today is my sister's second exhibition!
The folk painting exhibition has the best Korean atmosphere, and I wish I could bring all the foreigners walking on the streets of Insadong here! I feel bad for them.
Let's finish looking at the pieces on the 3rd floor.
Today, I just took a quick look, so I'll have to come again next week after lunch to see everything properly.
I sent a proof shot to my sister, and that's the end of that!✌️
After enjoying the exhibition, I took a trip around Insadong! Even though I'm just a worker who can only explore during lunch, I'm making the most of my time! Happy office worker!
It feels so good to take a walk after lunch since I work near Insadong.
Most of the people are tourists, so they look happy, and there are many things to see, so it feels like I'm on vacation too!
Hello, Insadong!
I also visited Ssamziegil, which I haven't been to in a while.
And I checked out Kkultarae (Korean honey taffy).
I'm going to go to Elephant Bagel soon. Maybe even today!
If you're visiting Insadong, I recommend stopping by this October exhibition, 'Our Lives, Minhwa'!
