A Special Birthday Course Prepared by My Husband: Table View & Boogie Woogie

My husband prepared and booked a special birthday course for me!
I didn't even know where we were going; I just followed him.
A record of that wonderful and happy day.
I had such a great time at Shinheung Market with my friend last time,
I told my husband I wanted to go there with him sometime, and
he booked a South African restaurant located in Shinheung Market.
The name of the place is
'Table View'!!
He booked it through Catch Table!
We were seated by the window.
My husband had checked out the menu beforehand,
so we ordered based on his recommendations.
Brai Salmon Pasta ₩32,000
Lamb Steak ₩68,000
Glass of Wine (White/Red) ₩18,000 per glass
Salad ₩9,000
Connie Malva ₩18,500
Before the food arrived,
the wine came first.
We chatted while looking at Namsan Mountain and took a picture while waiting for the food.
The first dish:
Brai Salmon Pasta
- Pasta made with charcoal and wood-fired salmon and seasonal ingredients.
I tasted the salmon first.
It was grilled so evenly and perfectly...
I've been to quite a few fancy restaurants,
so I'd say my palate is somewhat refined.
But this place is truly high-end!
The quality of the food is exceptional.
I highly recommend the salmon pasta!
It's so delicious...
Lamb Steak
- Dry-aged French rack with mushroom chimichurri sauce and fennel pickles.
This is a truly top-notch restaurant.
I don't generally love all lamb dishes,
but I do enjoy lamb from great lamb restaurants.
This place is exactly that.
Without any gamey smell,
they made an incredibly delicious lamb steak.
The lamb looked like art on the plate.
Salad ₩9,000
- Leafy greens, grilled vegetables, seasonal fruits, balsamic dressing, 15-year-old fermented soybean paste mayo.
It's great to eat with the salad in between bites.
The vegetables are incredibly fresh.

Homemade vanilla bean ice cream, meringue cookies, corn custard, South African cake, black sesame crumble.
My husband even lit candles on it for my birthday! Hehe.
It was so delicious that I ate it all up.

It's a bit pricey,
but the atmosphere is great,
and every single dish was exceptionally delicious.
I'd love to go again if I get the chance,
and I'd recommend it for someone's special anniversary.

And then, my husband had also booked
a jazz bar located near Noksapyeong Station in Itaewon.
Boogie Woogie
On the day we visited,
there was a performance by Jo Woon and Good Friends.
Hearing it live was a real treat for the ears.
I can't believe places like this exist~~~
It was so great to listen to jazz while eating pizza and drinking wine with my husband.
And then he suddenly handed me a letter.
I cried even more than when I received my proposal...

I'm always so grateful and thankful.
I love my husband so much.
I need to cherish him, love him more, and treat him well.

The atmosphere at Boogie Woogie Jazz Bar was truly amazing!
It was so great to enjoy live jazz performances with a variety of food and drinks.
I highly recommend this place!
If you include this place in a day-long course for an anniversary or special day,
it will be a perfect course!
