A Snowy Christmas Experience at Ganjeolgot Cape: Saeul Pavilion and White Christmas Tree Forest

As the Christmas season approached, I visited the Saeul Pavilion Christmas photo zone at Ganjeolgot Cape in Ulsan, which had been generating buzz.
But there was an even more amazing sight than the Saeul Pavilion photo zone.
It was the pure white Christmas tree forest being installed in the Ganjeolgot Cape area!
In Ulsan, where it's rare to see snow, I was able to experience a scene reminiscent of a 'snowy day at Ganjeolgot'.
Saeul Pavilion
✅ Address: 33, Ganjeolgot 1-gil, Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan
✅ Admission: Free
✅ Operating Hours
Exhibition Hall: 10:00 ~ 19:00 (Closed every Monday)
Christmas Photo Zone: Open until 10 PM
Parking is available for about 10 cars in the open space directly opposite the Saeul Pavilion.
However, parking is difficult on weekends, so it is recommended to park in a nearby public parking lot and walk.
This is an experiential promotional hall that makes the story of eco-friendly energy + nuclear power easy and fun.
The exhibition is well-organized, and it is decorated for children to enjoy, making it a great family outing.
And what I liked the most here was that the outdoor escape game is available for free.
I did Season 1, and now Season 2 is in operation.
If you come from afar, be sure to do this together.
If you only see the photo zone, it may feel a bit empty, but if you do the escape room, you can have a really fulfilling trip to Ganjeolgot.
The 2nd floor is also decorated with a Christmas theme.
And you can also experience the companion dog robot 'Luna', so if you visit with children, I highly recommend visiting it.
It is a 30-minute experience and is also available for free.
The rooftop offers a view of the Ganjeolgot Cape area.
It's also nice to go up there at sunset.
Shall we take a look at the Christmas photo zone in earnest?
The photo zone can be accessed by entering the Saeul Pavilion and passing through the back.
However, after 7 PM, the interior of the Saeul Pavilion is not accessible, so you can enter through the external passage on the side to use the photo zone.
The photo zone itself is open until 10 PM, so it's a good course to see the night view of Ganjeolgot, get some fresh air, and stop by last.
The composition is roughly like this.
One white Christmas tree in the center
Four snow globes on both sides (2+2)
Inside the snow globe, a train is moving, and snow is falling.
Polar bear, penguin, Rudolph, snowman, Santa figures
A white photo zone decorated like a snowy village
In particular, if you take continuous shots while matching the timing of the snow globe movement, the sensibility increases by 200% when taking pictures when it snows.
And another highlight!
I was only planning to see the Saeul Pavilion, but as I walked around Ganjeolgot...
Wow~ White trees were being installed so beautifully.
The photos look like a snowy landscape.
It rarely snows in Ulsan, right?
But this Ganjeolgot is constantly featuring decorations that give you the 'feeling of snow gradually accumulating'.
The installation was almost half done, but with this atmosphere, this year's Ganjeolgot Light Festival will be legendary.
Even... there was already an installation in place that reminded me of the 'barley field sculpture' (lights spreading like waves with LEDs!!) that was a big topic last year.
Once completed, it will be beautiful even during the day, but the combination of Ganjeolgot's unique cool sea + night lighting = enough said.
I'm really looking forward to this year.
Ganjeolgot is increasingly becoming a 'representative winter festival destination'.
If you want to feel the 'year-end vibe' in Ulsan this winter, it will be hard to find a place as satisfying as Ganjeolgot.
I quietly recommend it to those who want to feel the year-end vibe in Ulsan, those who have plans to visit Ganjeolgot, and those who want to take Christmas mood photos.
