A Ride on the Han River Water Bus: A Review
I had the chance to experience the Han River Water Bus in advance and wanted to share my thoughts.
I chose the 7 PM time slot, hoping to catch the day, sunset, and night views all in one ride.
Boarding Location: Head straight into Yeouinaru Square, and the entrance is on the left side of the building with the Starbucks!
Best Spot to Sit:
Since it's right-hand traffic at the start, sitting on the left side allows you to capture wider views of the Han River, the buildings across the river, and the sky. If you sit on the right, you'll get a great view of the 63 Building. However, everyone gets a chance to go out on the deck later, so any seat is good.
The glass ceiling provides a panoramic view of the Han River.

Inside: The seats are similar in length to economy class seats, but a bit narrower.
The restrooms were clean, likely because it's a newly built boat. There's a wheelchair-accessible restroom in the center.
Before departure, the staff explained how to use the life jackets.

As we sailed along, night quickly fell.
The Lotte Tower was waiting for us in the distance.
After a refreshing ride, we arrived at Jamsil Pier.
As soon as you disembark, a chicken restaurant tempts you!
Successfully resisted the temptation and disembarked safely. (I'll probably give in next time! lol)
The journey from Yeouido to Jamsil took about an hour.
It might not be practical for commuting, but it's a great option when you want to take a boat ride without the expense of a full-fledged cruise. It will be added to the Climate Companion Card next month, so I'll be adding it right away!
