Memory Photo Studio Ikseon Overview
Hello, this is Narungji. I recently visited Memory Photo Studio Ikseon to take friendship photos with my friends. The studio is located inside Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, making it a great stop after exploring nearby cafés and restaurants.
The studio is just a short walk from Jongno 3-ga Station, which makes it very convenient even for first-time visitors.
Address is 20, Donhwamun-ro 11na-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is about 153 meters from Exit 3 of Jongno 3-ga Station, serving Lines 1, 3, and 5.
Operating hours are from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM daily. Parking is not available, but Jongmyo Public Parking can be used nearby. Pets are also welcome, which is a nice bonus.
Location and Interior Atmosphere
The studio is located about a two-minute walk from the station, making it easy to combine with other plans in Jongno. Inside the studio, there is a separate machine shooting area in front and a dedicated self-shooting space.
The interior is simple and spacious, allowing even groups of five people to take full-body shots comfortably. Props such as veils, flower bouquets, headbands, glasses, sunglasses, and camera models are neatly organized and well maintained.
There is also a vanity area equipped with a straightener, mirror, cotton swabs, and hair ties, which makes quick touch-ups before shooting very convenient.
Pricing and Shooting Experience
The black-and-white self-shooting price is 20,000 KRW for two people. Since we visited as a group of five, the base cost was 50,000 KRW, with an additional 10,000 KRW for the original files.
In total, we paid 60,000 KRW, which felt very reasonable compared to other studios. Each person effectively paid about 10,000 KRW for high-quality results.
The shooting time is usually 10 minutes on weekends, but since we were a group of five, the staff extended it to 15 minutes. There are two cameras available, allowing both vertical and horizontal compositions.
After shooting, you simply select the photo numbers, choose whether you want retouching, and decide if you want the original files. We chose no retouching and purchased the original files only.
Final Thoughts on Memory Photo Studio Ikseon
Selecting the photos was quick, and the printing process took less than ten minutes. The final black-and-white prints turned out beautifully and captured our natural expressions.
Overall, Memory Photo Studio Ikseon is a great place for friendship photos, couple photos, or a casual photo experience in Jongno. If you are looking for a simple yet meaningful black-and-white self photo studio in Seoul, this is a spot worth visiting.
