Seonam Lake Park, a representative attraction of Nam-gu, Ulsan, has undergone a special transformation this winter.
On December 5th, the Christmas lighting ceremony was held in the lush green lawn, marking the beginning of a dazzling light festival throughout the park.
This winter wonderland will be illuminated every evening from 6 PM to 11 PM until January 31, 2026, providing Ulsan citizens with unforgettable year-end memories.
Located near the Rainbow Playground, it's a perfect stop for families enjoying playtime with their children.
Artistic Christmas Lights and Festive Atmosphere
The Christmas lights at Seonam Lake Park are more than mere decorations; they are a work of art. Various sizes of trees are installed around the main tree, and as night falls, these trees illuminate the entire park in a festive atmosphere.
The Christmas tree at Seonam Lake Park is a wonderful place to visit with anyone. Children joyfully play in front of the splendid trees, while couples enjoy romantic dates in the enchanting ambiance.
There are benches and decks throughout the park, allowing visitors to comfortably admire the display.
A Popular Photo Spot in Ulsan
The Christmas lights have quickly gained popularity on social media, establishing themselves as a must-visit photo spot in Ulsan. I was inspired to visit after seeing posts online.
It was common to see couples and families lining up to take photos in front of the giant main tree.
The brilliant lights of the tree serve as a perfect backdrop for memorable photos. I visited with my daughter and couldn't stop taking pictures.
Family-Friendly Winter Experience
We also enjoyed riding a sleigh pulled by Rudolph. The time just as the trees are lit is said to be the most beautiful.
After playing at the Rainbow Playground, we arrived around 6:30 PM with warm drinks from a nearby café, but it was a bit chilly. Hot packs and warm clothing are essential.
There’s also a gazebo decorated with roses, providing another lovely photo opportunity.
Parking is available at the Rainbow Playground or the lot across from the café.

Seonam Lake Park, established around the Seonam Dam in 1964, is known as one of Ulsan's top scenic spots, evolving into a harmonious park where people and nature coexist.
With its charm throughout the four seasons, the addition of Christmas lights this winter has elevated its appeal.
Filled with decorations like reindeer and snowmen, it captivates visitors with the warm glow against the cold winter air.
