It's the season when the yellow waves flowing between traditional buildings warmly embrace the heart.
Among the four seasons, autumn has many moments that are especially remembered for their 'light,' and among them, the ginkgo trees at Hyanggyo seem to be the most reliable signal that tells me that autumn has arrived every year.
Perhaps that's why I naturally head to Hyanggyo around this time of year, and this year, I was once again captivated by its yellow light. It's a place I would miss if I didn't visit every year.
When you arrive at Hyanggyo, the first thing that catches your eye is the serene tiled roof. The tiles and ginkgo leaves, seemingly imbued with a long history, quietly sparkle as if telling the story of the season.
The scenery was so tranquil that I could clearly hear the sound of the passing wind. It's a space where even the chirping of birds is beautiful, and it's a serene space that provides rest.
Hyanggyo is at its peak right now. Soon, the yellow leaves will fall, creating a carpet of fallen leaves.
Especially when the sunlight softly shines on the tiled roof and ginkgo leaves, the scenery is tinged with gold, making it fantastic not only in photos but also to the eye.
If you enjoy taking photos, you can capture postcard-worthy scenes just by pressing the shutter.
This year, the ginkgo trees at Hyanggyo were particularly lush with leaves, and just looking at them made me feel warm. The thoughts that usually rushed through my mind paused for a moment, and I had time to quietly catch my breath.
In front of this scenery, my heart naturally calms down, and the serene atmosphere that can only be felt here leaves a lasting impression.
It is well maintained without any fallen leaves on the floor, and Hyanggyo is a non-smoking area, so smoking is strictly prohibited.
The reason I love autumn at Hyanggyo is not just because of the beautiful scenery. It's because of the special balance created by the harmony of traditional architecture and nature.
I was once again reminded that it's rare to find a place in the city where the changing seasons blend in so beautifully.
Hyanggyo at this moment is a great place to walk around with a camera or simply to face each other and take a quiet break. Walking slowly under the yellow ginkgo trees naturally brings a warm feeling to your heart.
I also noticed quince trees, and the quinces seen through the sunlight were also beautifully yellow.
This autumn, if you want to stop for a moment and feel the autumn, I hope you will take a walk through the yellow season of Hyanggyo.✨ This was the most beautiful Hyanggyo.
