A Hidden Gem in Seogyo-dong: Bitter's Cocktail Bar Review

I was looking for a bar or cocktail bar in Seogyo-dong and stumbled upon a fantastic place called 'Bitter's,' so I'm here with a review!

You can get off at either Hongdae or Sangsu station and walk from there! It was easy to find because it's close to the main Hongdae street. Once you arrive at the building, take the elevator down to the first basement level. When you get off the elevator, you'll see an entrance decorated like books. So aesthetic, right? When I entered, I was greeted by a spacious and very clean cocktail bar. There were plenty of bar seats and tables, and it was quite crowded! We sat at the bar. I can't believe I'm only just discovering this Seogyo-dong spot now.
The basic appetizer is pretzels! The bartender was great at refilling them whenever we were running low, which was appreciated. The salty and crunchy flavor went really well with the cocktails.
25 Ban and Long Island Iced Tea
Long Island Iced Tea
It's such a famous classic cocktail, so I was curious to see what Bitter's take on the Long Island Iced Tea would be like. The reason I like it is because it has a clean taste and a high alcohol content, making it fun to drink. I was able to watch the cocktail being made right in front of me, and the bartender was such a pro that it was the best Long Island Iced Tea I've ever had! The price is ₩17,000.

I heard it's a cocktail with a 151 rum base that blends the sweet and sour flavors of apricot and cherry well! It's also a Bitter's signature cocktail, and the alcohol content is high at 25 degrees, so I wanted to try it. The price is ₩20,000. My companion was most satisfied with this cocktail. Even though it's 25 degrees, it doesn't taste bitter but rather has a smooth feel as it goes down, making it easy to sip.
I felt it was too bad to go home, so I decided to order another cocktail.
Fox's Grape
It's a unique cocktail with a white rum base that's decorated creamly to give it a sweet taste!
It tastes like grape ice cream and has a clean base liquor taste, so I felt that women would really like this cocktail! It's a flavor that even people who aren't good at drinking cocktails can enjoy.
In addition to cocktails, there are also various liquors such as whiskey, so it's a good idea to refer to this menu.
You can watch the bartenders make drinks, and if you go to the table seats, you can quietly talk while drinking, so it's a place where you'll be satisfied no matter what kind of atmosphere you want. I'll end my review of Bitter's, a bar in Hongdae Seogyo-dong!
