A Delightful Date Night at Beyond Gangnam: Dining, Ambiance, and More!
Last Thursday, it was the day before the Chuseok holiday began.
I finished work earlier than expected, and I felt it was a shame to go straight home.
So, after a long time, I went on a date with my partner to a place with a great atmosphere.
We visited Beyond Gangnam, a unique dining pub located in Gangnam!

This place is a complex dining space where you can enjoy not only delicious meals but also various performances.
The walls of the staircase leading down to the basement are lined with photos of the actors who participated in the performances, giving you the feeling of entering a theater.
As soon as I opened the door and entered, I was surprised by the much more luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere than I had expected.
The space was well-organized, with various seating options available, from comfortable table seats to bar tables, and even standing seats where you can enjoy the performance up close.
Sitting down, we found a QR code menu and immediately scanned it to check the menu.
We ordered a Tomato Caprese, Beyond's Signature Oil Pasta, and a glass of red wine and white wine each.
Shortly after we sat down, a small plate of cookies was served as an appetizer.
It wasn't overwhelming and had a subtle sweetness, making it perfect for whetting your appetite before the food came out.
The ordered dishes were set on the table in order shortly after we ordered.
I was glad that the wait wasn't long, and I was even more excited by the carefully plated dishes.
We each chose a wine to our liking. I chose white wine, and my partner chose red wine, and we started with a cheers before the delicious food came out.

I was amazed by the plating for a moment.
The green arugula, red tomatoes, and white mozzarella reminded me of Christmas.
As soon as I took a bite, the refreshing acidity of the tomatoes, the meltingly soft mozzarella, and the fragrant arugula all came together to cleanse my palate!
It was the perfect appetizer.
Here is Beyond's Signature Oil Pasta.
The oil sauce made with smoked paprika was the highlight.
The ingredients themselves were simple, but everything was perfect, from the doneness of the noodles to the balance of the sauce.
The refreshing acidity of the tomatoes and the savory paprika flavor blended subtly in my mouth and were truly captivating.
Especially when paired with wine, the flavor became even richer, and I ate it all up in an instant haha.
We were waiting for the performance, but unfortunately, we couldn't see it because the time didn't match T_T
Nevertheless, the atmosphere and service were so good that I wanted to come back again for a special anniversary.
It was a really good place to spend a special time with a blind date or a lover, and I want to visit again next time to enjoy the performance too!
