A Delicious Seafood Meal at Songdo Mulhoe #2 in Sokcho!
Finally taking a trip to Gangwon-do and loving it! The weather is perfect too. Sokcho is famous for its Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market (also known as Sokcho Central Market), right? There's so much good food, so I'm planning to buy some delicious things for dinner at my pension.
And of course, I couldn't miss out on trying the famous Mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) in Sokcho! So, I headed straight to Songdo Mulhoe #2, a well-known restaurant in Sokcho Central Market!

They had a very large fish tank outside.

While searching, I found out that Songdo Mulhoe #2 was selected as an excellent company in the 2025 KCCI Consumer Confidence Evaluation! You can trust it!
It was carefully packaged in a black plastic bag. And that mini red pepper paste sauce is amazing! So cute! I have to take the rest home.

The basic set includes Mulhoe, rice, seaweed soup, and red pepper paste sauce. The amount of raw fish on top of the vegetables is incredible! Is this amount of raw fish possible for this price?
Pour on plenty of red pepper paste sauce, mix it all up, and enjoy! The texture is so good because there are so many vegetables and so much raw fish. And the raw fish has absolutely no fishy taste and is even savory! Sweet, sour, and spicy, it whets your appetite.
It's a Mulhoe Rice Bowl, so you can mix it and eat it, but I eat the rice separately with the Mulhoe. It's the best!
The included seaweed soup is also bland and goes very well with it. The composition is so good!
Songdo Mulhoe #2 in Sokcho Central Market gives you a generous amount of raw fish, so you can enjoy a hearty meal!
