A Day at the Yosigo Photography Exhibition: Food, Inspiration, and Street Photography
I went to the Yosigo photography exhibition.
To be honest, I didn't know who Yosigo was.
I started taking photos as a hobby and wanted to buy a photo essay or a photo book, but I didn't know what to buy, and I felt frustrated because I wanted to see good photos.
By chance, I got an opportunity to go to the exhibition.
It was the first time in my life that I went to see an exhibition because I wanted to.
My impression? Very satisfying!
But first, let's eat before we go! I decided to visit a cafe called Hoehyeon Cafe.
I decided on the place while riding the bus (I'm a complete P).
The first floor is Hoehyeon Restaurant, which sells fish set meals and operates on a reservation-only basis.
The 'Stamina Set Menu' I was going to eat was sold on the second floor at Hoehyeon Cafe.
I'm really excited!
They sell Suntory draft beer...? Then I have to have some.
Karaage + shrimp tempura + Hamburg steak + Neapolitan pasta - isn't this the perfect combination for a man?
It was delicious... Now that I've filled my stomach, let's go see the exhibition.
It's lunchtime for office workers.

Before seeing the photo exhibition, here's some of my own photography.

The artist apparently took pictures of the same place multiple times.
He says he likes the different stories that emerge each time.
I also take pictures of the same place every time and think, 'Oh, it's boring!', but this makes me reflect.
'Different' stories in the 'same' place.
Yosigo also likes bird's-eye views.

Actually, the photos were good, but Ground Seesaw arranged the exhibition in a very sensual way, so the immersion was considerable (I could even hear the sound of the sea).

There are photos he took while staying in Tokyo.
There's a certain feeling that close-ups give.
I'll have to try taking some when I go to Japan next time...

He's also been to Korea.
I also like bird's-eye view photos of crosswalks.
I'm going to try it at sunset.
Now, onto the US.
Road trip.
The artist was influenced by American photos from the 70s and 80s, they say.
I felt like I knew what kind of feeling it was just by looking at it.

I enjoyed it.. Actually, there's an interview video of Yosigo beyond this area, and that video was so good.
I could feel his attitude towards photography, and I think it will have a good influence on my hobby photography activities in the future.
So, as soon as I came out, I was inspired and went on a street photo shoot nearby.
