Eligible property owners can receive financial support for demolition by applying within the designated period.
Support Program for Abandoned House Demolition in Muan County
Muan County is promoting a demolition support program targeting abandoned houses that have remained unused for more than one year.
This program offers an opportunity to safely organize neglected homes and contribute to a cleaner, more pleasant local environment.
Application Period and Project Schedule
The application period runs from January 12, 2026, to February 13, 2026.
The project itself will be carried out between January and June 2026.
Please note that if demolition work is not initiated within the project period, the approved support may be canceled.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is available for houses that have not been occupied or used for more than one year.
Only individually owned abandoned houses are eligible.
Abandoned houses owned by corporations are not eligible for this support.
Support Details and Coverage
Up to 3 million won is provided per property to cover demolition costs.
The support includes demolition of abandoned houses and any associated auxiliary buildings.
However, demolition of auxiliary buildings alone is not eligible for support.
If the house has a slate roof, demolition must be linked to a separate, related support program.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted in person.
Visit the town or village office where the abandoned house is located to apply.
Applicants are encouraged to prepare relevant ownership documents in advance for a smooth application process.
Building a Safer and Cleaner Community Together
This demolition support program is designed to reduce safety risks caused by long-abandoned houses.
By participating, residents can help create safer villages and improve overall living conditions.
Muan County encourages eligible property owners to take advantage of this opportunity and contribute to a healthier community environment.
