2026 Program Enrollment Announcement
This announcement introduces a series of education and activity programs designed for young adults in Gimpo, covering job preparation, certifications, life independence, and cultural experiences.
With full support for participation fees and a wide range of practical courses, the programs are structured to help participants strengthen career skills and daily life competencies.
Applications are accepted for a limited time on a first-come, first-served basis, making early registration especially important.
Recruitment Period and Application Overview
The recruitment period runs from January 12, 2026 to January 29, 2026.
Classes may be canceled if enrollment does not reach 50 percent, so timely application is recommended.
Applications must be submitted through the Gimpo Lifelong Education Platform.
Who Can Apply for These Programs
The programs are open to individuals aged 19 to 39.
Eligible applicants include Gimpo residents or those actively engaged in Gimpo, such as employees, entrepreneurs, and college students.
Each program accepts between 15 and 24 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Education Locations and Accessibility
The Computer Proficiency Level 2 Problem-Solving Class is held at the Janggi-dong New Job Center, located on the 9th floor at 125 Hangang 4-ro.
This location is easily accessible via Exit 2 of Janggi Station.
All other classes take place at the Gimpo Youth Support Center, 5th floor, 841 Gimpo-daero, near Exit 3 of Sau Station.
Participant Benefits and Cost Information
Participation fees for all programs are fully supported.
Textbooks and materials are not included and must be paid separately by participants.
For cultural programs, material costs are set at 10,000 KRW per session.
Job Preparation and Entrepreneurship Programs
The Basic Job Training course focuses on resume enhancement and runs from February 2 to February 9, 2026.
Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 14:00 to 17:00, totaling three sessions.
The AI-based e-commerce startup program explores turning a side business into a full-time venture.
This course runs from February 2 to February 10, 2026, on Mondays and Tuesdays from 18:00 to 21:00, across four sessions.
Certification Preparation Programs
The Japanese JPT 800-point mock test class is scheduled from February 5 to February 27, 2026.
Sessions take place on Thursdays and Fridays from 14:00 to 17:00, totaling eight sessions.
The OPIc IH-level mock test class runs on the same dates, with evening sessions from 18:00 to 21:00.
The Computer Proficiency Level 2 problem-solving class is held from February 2 to February 24, 2026.
Classes meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 19:00 to 22:00, for a total of eight sessions.
Life Independence and Financial Literacy Programs

Important Notes Before Applying

Unauthorized absences on two occasions without special reasons may result in removal from the program and restrictions on future applications.
Applicants are advised to apply only if they can attend all sessions.
Laptops are required for practical courses, though limited rentals are available.
Material costs become non-refundable once purchased, typically seven days before the class begins.
