My Week in Review: Naksan Park, Marie Curie, and Busan Rock Festival!

This is how I felt this week, and what I'm planning for next week.

Last week, I visited Orlando (guessing there's a previous post about this) and took some pictures with H at Naksan Park. Naksan Park is so beautiful and wonderful!

There was a place that looked exactly like the background of Demon Hunters, and I was like, "Wow!" It actually was that place.

I wish my neighborhood had a place to take a walk like this, a supermarket, a bookstore, a department store with a movie theater, and a hospital, all conveniently located...

My AirPods Pro 3 case hasn't arrived yet, so I put them in the knitted case I made before, and they fit! It's so cute that I glanced at it whenever I felt tired at work.

The only day I didn't work late this week was Tuesday. I went to Apgujeong Myeonok for a bowl of Pyeongyang cold noodles and then went to see "Marie Curie." The broth here was the cleanest I've ever tasted in Pyeongyang cold noodles. And the saltiest! But it wasn't so salty that I couldn't eat it; the seasoning was strong, so I could still taste the Pyeongyang flavor even when eating it with other side dishes, which I liked.

M.a.r.i.e. C.u.r.i.e. was exactly my cup of tea.

Why do I love stories about people who love their work so much?

It's not just about Marie Curie's love for her research, but also about the world changed by her research, and the people who both benefited and suffered from it (Anne). And Marie trying to fix it. The relationship between Anne and Marie is great, but the actors playing the workers were so good. Personally, the Bolero for the dead workers was the best number.

I expected Marie Curie to be smart and energetic, but Kim Ryeo-won's Marie was a slightly timid, very cute puppy. Her eyes sparkled whenever she talked about her field, which was so charming. And I watched her gradually become stronger with a sense of pride (me, watching Marie Curie?).

Anne's character is fictional, but I think they created such a good character. It's amazing that she didn't form a labor union.

Expensive and famous plays are famous for a reason.

I bought bread at the Yonsei Kyobo bookstore, and it turned out that I only like novel.

It was so me that it got cut off.

I went to Busan. It was crazy.

I had never left work before 10 PM until the day before, so I was worried if this was the right thing to do before leaving, but I had already paid for everything, so I thought I had no choice and just left.

As soon as I arrived in Busan, I went to Sinbalwon, which I always go to, but it was so much more crowded than before...?

I freaked out and went to Maga Dumpling next door.

The fried dumplings are okay, but you should go to Sinbalwon...

The reason I went to Busan was to attend the Busan Rock Festival. I almost died of romance.

Or exhaustion...

I tried slam dancing for the first time while watching Glen Check perform, and it was so fun but so tiring that I felt like my knees were going to give out...

Grandma's having fun, right...?

I ate a lot of delicious food, saw Yoonmaachi, and my Gwanghwamun comrades, so it was a lot of fun.

And I finally saw MIKA, and I realized that a world-class artist is different... It was amazing how one person could fill a big stage. I have a video of it, but I don't know how to attach it...

I don't know if it was because I had heatstroke or because I stole a few sips of my friends' whiskey highballs, but my headache wouldn't go away, so I ate as little as possible to avoid getting indigestion, but the sashimi was so delicious...

The hotel had an ocean view, so when I woke up in the morning and went to the living room, it was so beautiful... I want to live in a house like this...

I was going to go to Lee Jae-mo Pizza for lunch, but it was closed, so we decided to go to Gwangalli Beach. We put our name on the waiting list at Suyeon Best Pork Rice Soup near Gwangalli and looked at the sea. For 3 hours. Waiting.

I went to Gongcha and watched people from outside and wondered if anyone knows this guy (probably not...). He stood out because of his outfit, but more than that, he gestured like a model as if he was waiting for someone, and then he greeted a foreigner. At first, I thought he was waiting for his group, but then he waited again, and then he greeted the same foreigner again as if they hadn't seen each other in a long time? I wondered if he was filming something, but he didn't have a camera, so my friends and I guessed that it was a social experiment.
