It's called 'Yaksa Stream Garden'.
This place is a hidden gem recognized by the residents of Yaksa-dong!
It's a great place for Donkatsu and Jeyuk Bokkeum, and is also famous for its duck dishes, a popular stamina food in summer.
Today, I decided to take a leisurely walk to enjoy a simple dinner here~
Let's get right into the detailed introduction.✌

Yaksa Stream Garden Location and Parking Information!
I visited 'Yaksa Stream Garden' at 6 PM on a weekday evening.
It's located in the alley across from Bomungak in Yaksa-dong.
You can find it by walking straight about 30m into the alley~
Since it's located in an alley, it might be a little difficult for first-time visitors,
But for those using cars, the navigation system works well, so it won't be difficult >.<
You can park in front of the restaurant or on the surrounding streets, so please keep that in mind!
Now, let's go inside the restaurant!
Near the entrance of the restaurant,
There are various decorations lined up,
Which is quite fun to look at!
Also, as the name suggests, you can see a wide garden and there were a few outdoor tables.
There's nothing better than being outdoors on a nice day ^^
It would be really nice to have a cold beer!
But since the weather is still a bit hot,
I decided to taste it inside today!
Let's go inside the restaurant.
Go go!!!
Yaksa Stream Garden Menu!
First, let's take a closer look at the menu of Yaksa Stream Garden.
From Donkatsu to Jeyuk Bokkeum,
Bibim Guksu (spicy mixed noodles), Duck Baeksuk (ginseng chicken soup with duck), and Grilled Duck!!!
A variety of menus were prepared~
Today, we ordered a set menu where you can eat Donkatsu and Jeyuk Bokkeum together
To eat simply and fully!
Ordered 2 sets of Ttukbaegi Mukeunji Jeyuk (aged kimchi stir-fried pork) + Donkatsu!
While waiting for the food to come out,
Let's take a look around the restaurant!????
Cozy interior atmosphere!
If you go straight into the restaurant,
There is a room, and in this large space,
Several tables were arranged!
Near the entrance, similar to the outdoors,
It was full of various decorations.
It felt like visiting a country house and was friendly!>.<
Today, we sat in the living room space near the kitchen, not the room,
The interior was spacious, clean, and cozy,
Making it a comfortable place to dine with family.
Handmade Aged Donkatsu
Now, let's start the food exploration in earnest!
The handmade aged Donkatsu that I was waiting for came out first~
The Donkatsu is crispy on the outside,
The unique texture of the Donkatsu was so good!
Basasak~ Basasak~
And, the characteristic of Yaksa Stream Garden's Donkatsu is
The fact that salted shrimp is included in the dipping sauce!!!
Have you ever thought about dipping Donkatsu in salted shrimp???
I thought it was unique at first,
But when I ate it, it was a new world! lol
It goes much better than I thought and is delicious lol
And, the salt that the boss makes himself
Is also amazing~
Just dipping it and eating it salty,
It was attractively delicious.
My child ate so well
I cleared the Donkatsu right away~
Ttukbaegi Mukeunji Jeyuk Bokkeum
Next is Ttukbaegi Mukeunji Jeyuk Bokkeum.
You can see that it is today's main menu
First, turn on the fire for the Jeyuk Bokkeum
And stir-fry gently with fresh vegetables~
In the meantime, let me introduce the basic side dishes first.
As basic side dishes, Musaengchae (spicy radish salad), bean sprouts, kimchi, and Jangachi (pickled vegetables) are provided,
I will mix these side dishes with Jeyuk Bokkeum later
I'm going to eat it ㅎㅎ
Please look forward to it~
Next is the Doenjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew) that comes with it!!!
The soup in Doenjang Jjigae...
The soup is really amazing ????????????
My husband, who is sensitive to the taste of stew,
Ate all of the Doenjang Jjigae here, saying it was really delicious lol
Then come back to Jeyuk Bokkeum!!
Stir-fry the meat well so that it doesn't burn.
Since the Mukeunji is in one piece,
Cut it into bite-sized pieces and eat it~
If you want to eat it long and deliciously,
You can just cut off the kimchi butt.
By now, the visuals have become very edible, right? ㅎㅎ
The vegetables are also very wilted
The meat is also cooked to some extent
I looked at the meat and Mukeunji separately first,
Wow!!! Both of them are soaked in Jeyuk Bokkeum sauce
Totally delicious!!!!!
The combination of the spiciness of Mukeunji and the savory taste of the meat
Was fantastic.
In the end, I couldn't resist and ordered Somaek (soju and beer mixed).
As expected, you can't leave out alcohol hahaha lol
And, according to the method the boss told me,
Now, take the rice in a bowl
Let's mix various side dishes and Mukeunji Jeyuk and eat them.
Rice can be refilled as much as you want,
There is also Gim Garu (seaweed flakes) and sesame oil around, so add as much as you want!
First, Mukeunji Jeyuk Bokkeum
Put in as much as you want~
Add a lot of your favorite bean sprouts
Sprinkle Gim Garu and sesame oil
If you stir it up, delicious bibimbap is complete!!
It looks appetizing just by looking at it, right? lol
Because the Jeyuk Bokkeum was so delicious,
Bibimbap is also honey...taste....!!!
The crunchy Musaengchae and bean sprouts are added
It was even more delicious~
Does it feel more delicious because the texture is more alive? lol
If you don't like bibimbap,
You can just eat it with white rice, so don't worry!
Eat according to your taste.
If you eat like this, you will really be full...
Finishing overall review!!!
After finishing the meal and coming outside,
The night of Yaksa Stream Garden has become dark,
It feels different when all the lights are on!
I enjoyed the meal and took a walk along the nearby Yaksa Stream to digest it, which was also great
Be sure to experience the Yaksa Stream walking course after your meal!
'Yaksa Stream Garden' where Donkatsu and Jeyuk Bokkeum were really delicious
