A few days ago, my husband was craving gopchang (Korean grilled small intestine), so we headed to our favorite spot, Woojangchangchang!
It's just my personal preference, but I've been to many so-called "gopchang 맛집 (delicious restaurants)" and was always disappointed by the excessive amounts of fat attached to the intestines.
That's why Woojangchangchang, with its impeccably cleaned gopchang, is our absolute favorite.
The side dishes are perfectly optimized for gopchang. The fresh chives and bean sprouts, tossed right before serving, are incredibly crunchy and delicious!
They hand-prepare Korean beef gopchang, so you can trust the quality and enjoy it without any worries.
Woojangchangchang has been with us for over 10 years, from dating to marriage and raising our child.
Usually, we finish off the meal with a delicious ramen stew and two orders of fried rice, but due to diet concerns...
...we ordered only one fried rice, and my husband ate it all!
The owner is also incredibly friendly and always welcomes us with the perfect amount of attention. It's a place we always want to return to, and we visit often.
