Ureok: A Frank Review of a Famous Pyongyang Cold Noodle Restaurant in Seoul

Known as one of the best Pyongyang cold noodle restaurants in Seoul,
<Ureok> My honest, no-sponsored review.
Let's dive in!
At first, I didn't know
the taste of Pyongyang cold noodles...
Located right in front of Exit 4 of Euljiro 4-ga Station, accessibility is great!
Cheonggyecheon Stream is right in front, perfect for a date ❤️
Operating Hours:
Closed every Monday
Tuesday-Sunday: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Last Order: 8:20 PM
Ureok Menu:
I was initially surprised by the price of Ureok's Pyongyang cold noodles.
I wondered why cold noodles were so expensive, but
I found out that Pyongyang cold noodles at other Pyongyang noodle restaurants
are all priced similarly...
As far as I remember,
Ureok was
my first Pyongyang cold noodle experience...!
I went on the weekend and the wait was long...
[Ureok Saturday Weekend Waiting Timeline]
1) Registered for waiting at 3:20 PM
2) Was able to sit down at 4:05 PM!
=> Took about 45 minutes!
You can also have coffee & ice cream while waiting at Ureok.
The stairs leading up to the second floor are quite nice, right?
"Oh~ wow"
Vinegar & Mustard
What game is this again?!?
I can't remember~~
And why did they show me this screen?
It's already been 5 months
I ordered the spicy (bibim) and the original versions.
I remember they were out of meat that day, so I couldn't order it.
Actually... I don't understand
why Ureok's Pyongyang cold noodles are considered so delicious.
Still...
(Personal opinion)
I don't think Pyongyang cold noodles are my style.
But the Pyongyang cold noodle restaurant in Bangi-dong that I went to last time
was really delicious.
There's a review of the Bangi-dong Pyongyang cold noodle restaurant <Okdol Hyeonok> coming up, right?
I think Okdol Hyeonok is much more delicious...!!
But there must be a reason why Ureok's Pyongyang cold noodles
are Michelin-rated,
and I believe it's something I haven't realized yet,
so I'm planning to visit again someday...
There's a calico cat
living in the cafe next to Ureok.
Cutie
I hope Seoul becomes a city where cats can live happily.
My boyfriend and I sat and rested for a while in the shade made by the Cheonggyecheon bridge.
I miss my boyfriend in Jeju so much.
I want to see him again even though I saw him yesterday.
I read Cheon Seonran's <Lang and My Desert>
It's a truly tearful novel................
Everyone must read it, remember it.
Lang and My Desert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After eating at Ureok, I went to a local cafe.
<Leaf Coffee Bar> in Songnidan-gil
Just don't buy the banana pudding
It's just okay!
But?
The latte is quite delicious..
Leaf Coffee Bar Menu:
The coffee here is delicious,
but my expectations for the desserts have dropped a bit because of the banana pudding,
so I probably won't buy desserts often.
Leaf Coffee Bar is very crowded on weekends.
The store is also small.
So we sat at an outdoor table.
May weather
It was chilly, but still very nice :)
