I've been to quite a few eel restaurants with my parents over the years, and this one is definitely the cleanest I've seen.
I visited on a weekday for lunch without a reservation. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, I recommend visiting during this time rather than the busy evenings or weekends.
Songlim Bok Eels uses freshly prepared live eels every day. The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality you get!
All-You-Can-Eat (Adult) (₩29,900) * 2

They initially bring out a small serving of pork belly and duck as a sampler, which is a nice touch when you suddenly crave meat while eating eel.
Here are the basic side dishes they provide: pickled perilla leaves, seasoned green onions, and pickled onions. My mom especially loved the pickled onions.
These are white kimchi and ginger. I found that these two alone perfectly complemented the eel from beginning to end; I didn't need anything else!
Additional side dishes can be found at the self-serve bar. There are even more options than what they initially provide, so it's a good idea to check it out first.
You can directly get thick cuts of eel and meat from the self-serve bar, so you don't have to feel awkward asking for more. The standout feature is the freshness of everything.
Here are some of the things I brought from the self-serve bar. They have a generous supply of freshly washed lettuce wraps, and I highly recommend grilling the garlic together with the eel.

According to their Naver Place page, they offer a free bottle of bokbunja wine (Korean raspberry wine) as a promotional event. A great deal for those who enjoy alcohol!
But since we don't really drink alcohol, they kindly switched it out for a Zero Coke for us. I really appreciated their willingness to accommodate!

We started by grilling the eel and garlic first. The key is to adjust the heat carefully, alternating between low, medium, and off.
My mom is a pro at grilling, so the eel started to cook evenly with a beautiful color. You can really see how thick it is from this point on!

Can you see how firm and fresh it looks?!
I wanted to eat it right away, but I personally prefer my eel well-done, so I waited patiently.
Once it's nicely cooked, first, add some sauce. Before that, try dipping it in salt first. Even just eating it plain, you'll immediately notice the excellent quality.

The best combination is definitely ginger and teriyaki sauce. It's an addictively delicious combination that you'll never get tired of!
Of course, I didn't just stick to one flavor. Wrapping it in perilla leaves adds a unique aroma that's incredibly delicious. The quality is just as good as a specialty eel restaurant!

I kept reaching for the white kimchi. Its refreshing and tangy flavor cuts through the richness of the eel perfectly. It was a great pairing.
If I had to summarize what we kept saying while eating, it was that the price was unbelievable. I honestly wondered if they were even making a profit!

After eating so much eel, I started craving meat. They had pork belly and duck!
Switching from seafood to meat felt like creating more space in my stomach, haha. I was especially happy to see the pork belly.

The duck was marinated, so it was chewy and savory. I enjoyed it a lot.
I was not exaggerating when I said the pork belly felt like it was served at a specialty pork belly restaurant. How can even this be so good?!
Songlim Bok Eels Baegot Branch is doing an amazing job! Not only does everything look great, but it all tastes amazing too. With the perfect side dishes to complement everything, this is a place I have to tell everyone about.

If you're currently looking for an all-you-can-eat eel restaurant in Baegot, you'll definitely be satisfied with the quality at Songlim Bok Eels!

The best of the best is definitely the combination of ginger and teriyaki sauce. It's an addictive combination that you'll never get tired of!
Of course, I didn't just eat it one way. Wrapping it in perilla leaves also mixes a unique fragrance and was really delicious. The quality is really the same as a specialty restaurant.
I also kept eating the white kimchi. It was sour and refreshing, so it perfectly captured the oiliness, and it was a perfect match.
We kept eating until we were full, and now we wanted to eat meat. It was pork belly and duck.
Switching from seafood to meat made me feel like I had another place in my stomach, lol. I especially don't know why I was so happy to see the pork belly.
The duck was marinated, so it was chewy and flavorful, so I ate it deliciously.
