Sushi Ae: The Sushi Restaurant I Still Think About After Intending to Visit a Bupyeong Local Favorite

Instead of going to a well-known Bupyeong restaurant, Sushi Ae is the only place I could think of now.
It had been a while since I craved sushi, so I searched online and discovered a revolving sushi restaurant where you can enjoy unlimited sushi to your heart's content.
It was already a popular spot in Bupyeong, famous as one of the best local restaurants, so my curiosity piqued, and I headed there right away.
1. Location & Address Information
Sushi Ae, which I visited this time, was located right next to Bupyeong Market Station Exit 4.
It was easily accessible and easy to find, being almost attached to the subway station.
Sushi Ae, which I visited, was only a few steps from Bupyeong Market Station Exit 4.
Public transportation was very convenient, and it took almost no time to find the place.
As soon as I entered Sushi Ae, I saw various plates rotating on the conveyor belt.
The colorful sushi immediately caught my eye, and I was naturally impressed by the appealing presentation.
I could pick up my favorite sushi one by one as the plates passed by.
There were also large tables for multiple people to sit together.
There were plenty of tables, so I could sit comfortably without worrying about waiting.
Moreover, cleaning and hygiene were thoroughly maintained, so I could enjoy my meal with peace of mind even in the middle of summer.
Looking at the menu, there were separate prices for weekday lunch and dinner.
You could also purchase a takeout set to enjoy at home.
I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were, and I enjoyed a variety of sushi, including salmon, eel, flounder, and rosy seabass, as well as fried items.
2. A Full Table of Delights
I personally like to try a variety of different types of sushi.
I was happy just looking at the plate full of colorful sushi.
There were so many kinds that even though I tried to pick a different sushi each time, there were still quite a few that I couldn't try.
First, I tasted the basic salmon sushi, and the surface had a soft sheen, so I could clearly feel the freshness.
The smooth and chewy texture melted in my mouth, and I immediately gave it a thumbs up.
3. Marinated Salmon
I was immediately captivated by the marinated salmon because of its crumbly texture.
The secret sauce on top of the salmon was so flavorful that I didn't even need to add soy sauce.
There were plenty of options that children would love, making it a perfect place for a family meal.
Next, I tried the soy sauce marinated shrimp sushi, and the chewy texture was amazing.
The sauce had deeply penetrated the shrimp, making me want to keep eating it.
In addition to seafood, there was also sushi topped with meat, so you could choose according to your preference.
The thinly sliced pork belly, cooked until crispy, was tender and enjoyable to chew.
Moreover, the savory juices flowed generously, filling my mouth.
The shrimp sushi was also well-prepared and topped with radish sprouts.
The slightly spicy flavor of the sprouts added a refreshing taste to the sushi.
Adding a little lemon juice made it even more appealing, as the citrusy flavor eliminated any fishy taste.
The next plate was sushi topped with Takowasa (octopus with wasabi).
The spicy and sweet flavors combined to create a party in my mouth.
The chewy texture of the octopus added to my satisfaction.
Moreover, there was plenty of sushi topped with various types of raw fish, all of which were exceptionally fresh.
The fish was sliced thickly, so one piece was enough to satisfy me.
The rosy seabass sushi melted smoothly in my mouth and had a savory and sweet taste.
4. Tuna Sushi
The tuna sushi had a low fat ratio, so the savory flavor was excellent.
Eating it with radish sprouts added a refreshing taste, making it easy to eat one after another without getting tired of it.
Sometimes, I've had bad experiences at sushi restaurants where the amount of rice was too much.
But here, the ratio of rice to toppings was perfect, showcasing the chef's skills.
There was also a variety of desserts, so I could enjoy after-dinner treats at my seat.
The freshly fried Menbosha (shrimp toast) was hot and delicious.
I immediately tried the flounder sushi and was impressed by the plump texture.
The natural chewiness and savory taste made it even more enjoyable to eat.
The fried items tasted best when eaten hot.
The inside was filled with plump shrimp, providing a rich texture.
Dipping it in chili sauce made me exclaim with delight.
I emptied the plate, even eating the tail.
5. Fresh Fish Sushi
The fresh fish sushi was a perfect bite-sized portion.
Perhaps because the owner personally selected the fish, it was exceptionally fresh.
I enjoyed not only my favorite sushi but also a variety of rare types.
It was very fortunate to be able to enjoy such high-quality sushi in an unlimited setting.
The Baek Kimchi (white kimchi) sushi was also excellent.
There was raw fish hidden under the white kimchi, so I could immediately enjoy the savory and refreshing taste.
6. Takoyaki
The Takoyaki was carefully cooked and served.
The outside was crispy, and the inside was soft. Large pieces of octopus were added, which was very satisfying.
I was also able to try the Karaage (fried chicken).
The unique sweetness of the chicken filled my mouth, and my lips immediately turned upward into a smile.
The Maki (sushi roll) wrapped in seaweed was a masterpiece, with various ingredients harmonizing together.
The popping flying fish roe added a salty and impressive flavor.
To be able to enjoy such substantial sushi at such a reasonable price was pure healing.
I highly recommend visiting this great place for affordable prices with high value!
