I heard there's a place in Gimpo that's famous for its "jjukkumi bokkeum" (spicy stir-fried octopus), so I had to check it out.
Honestly, I always crave 'jjukkumi' after eating it, but this place has a fantastic balance of spiciness and savory flavor... I'm still thinking about it. ????
I visited during an off-peak time on a weekday afternoon, but it was still quite busy.
It definitely felt like a local favorite! ????

The interior of the restaurant is clean and spacious, making it perfect for family visits.
Even though I went for lunch on a weekday, it was quite crowded, but there was even a waiting area in front of the restaurant~

Spicy Stir-fried Octopus (Jjukkumi Bokkeum) – ₩10,000
Grilled Yellow Corvina (Hwangtae Gui) – ₩11,000
Additional Soybean Paste Stew (Doenjang Jjigae) – ₩1,000
Choice of White Rice or Barley Rice – ₩1,000
Shrimp Tempura (Small) – ₩9,000
One order per person is the basic rule, and the side dishes of seasoned vegetables are incredibly delicious.
Nutty and savory!! That's why I mixed it with barley rice!
Rice is ordered separately, but honestly, at ₩1,000, the quality is amazing.
The shrimp tempura is also perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a hint of saltiness, so you absolutely must try it!!
