Spice Up Your Life: Yega Nakji Village - A Fiery Fix After the Holidays!

Rainy days and holiday feasting on greasy pancakes (jeon) and meat had me craving something spicy!
Ta-da!
Yega Nakji Village, it’s been a while!
The building is quite big!
As big as the building, the parking lot is spacious as well.
I’m hungry, let’s head inside quickly.
The interior is really spacious.
We visited for an early dinner!
Here's the menu.
(I love that you can adjust the spiciness level!!!)
You order through a kiosk.
Seasoned radish, bean sprouts, and shredded seaweed are set on the table.
Refreshing dongchimi (radish water kimchi) broth also appears.
Rice is served in a wide bowl.
Steamed egg is also served.
The visuals are crazy!!
Mouthwatering visuals.
Overall, this is a great place to visit when you're craving something spicy and stimulating!
My dad often brings my mom here, because she loves spicy food.
They also sell walnut candy (hodu yeot)!
(Not pumpkin candy!)
Korea's original dessert!!
Actually, the day I visited was quite uncomfortable...
It seemed like an employee made a slight mistake and there was some confusion.
A man in the kitchen started yelling and scolding very loudly.
It didn't stop after just one outburst, he kept going, which made me uneasy.
Everyone else stopped eating and just stared at the kitchen.
Some customers even started getting angry...
The atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable to that extent.
When I paid, a woman apologized for the commotion.
It made me wonder if this happens often...I'm not sure.
Even so, I enjoyed the meal!
Since there's Joongdae Mulbit Park right in front, it's perfect for a walk before or after your meal.
You should definitely stop by and have a meal sometime!
