I'm a huge fan of shabu-shabu.

This year, I stumbled upon Shabu Ol Day and fell in love,

and this is already my third visit to a different branch!

So, how was Shabu Ol Day Seoul Jayang Branch this time?

Here's my honest and vivid review!!

Shabu Ol Day Seoul Jayang Branch

Location: 1st floor, 503 Ttukseom-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul

Operating Hours: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

(Break Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Parking: 2 hours free at the back of the building

(If full, there's a new parking lot at Norunsan Alley Market)

Parking Tip

There's a parking lot behind the building with 2 hours of free parking, but it's not an exclusive parking area, so spaces are limited.

The tip is that the Norunsan Market public parking lot is newly opened,

making parking convenient!

Inside the Restaurant

The Cheonho branch was large, located next to a big mart,

and the Sinnae branch was also large as it was in an entire building.

The Seoul Jayang branch was on the first floor of a building,

and it was smaller compared to the other two branches.

However, it was neatly organized and

passed the hygiene test!

The vegetables were well-maintained.

Bean sprouts, bok choy, enoki mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, etc.

The vegetables were well-managed, and

above all, I was happy to see water parsley (minari)!

There were also sujebi (Korean pasta), rice cakes, and sausages,

and various types of fish cakes,

so you can customize your meal to your liking!

It's easy to spill while scooping the sauces,

but the staff were constantly watching carefully

and thoroughly managing the hygiene.

The olives and nuts were also

managed very cleanly.

Glass noodles spring rolls, dumplings, vegetable tempura, and onion rings were

kept crispy and warm.

There were also refreshing types of kimchi

like fresh kimchi, young radish kimchi, and dongchimi (radish water kimchi).

You Can Have a Full Meal with Hot Foods

There was a variety of sweet and sour eggplant, lemon tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), water parsley with pork belly,

pork cutlet, chicken wings, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and chicken, etc.

Especially the sweet and sour eggplant, lemon tangsuyuk, pork belly with water parsley and chicken

I've tried them at other branches,

but they were the most delicious at this branch.

There were also tteokbokki, ragu pasta, and hamburg steak.

There were really a lot of side dishes.

Our combination is always

beef broth + mala broth.

One mild,

one spicy,

so you can eat without getting tired of it.

Now, all we have to do is

eat diligently!

The vegetables and meat are fresh,

so you can enjoy it!

I especially like rice paper,

so I can wrap it perfectly like this.

This chewy, mild flavor,

and a bite of savory peanut sauce,

says it all!

A Clean Finish with Warm Porridge

You can take as many eggs as you want,

which makes it even better when making porridge!

But for a more perfect finish,

sweet dessert is a must?

They finish with ice cream and chocolate fondue.

The dessert machines were also managed cleanly,

making it great to eat!

✔️ The best in taste and hygiene among the three branches I've visited.

✔️ The hot foods were especially delicious!!

Shabu Ol Day is a chain restaurant,

but there seems to be quite a difference between branches.

Shabu Ol Day Seoul Jayang Branch

had the smallest space,

but it was the most hygienic and fresh!

Since I like shabu-shabu so much,

there will be a day when I go to Shabu Ol Day again,

and if I do, I will go to the Seoul Jayang branch.
