Savoring 60 Years of Tradition: Sinchon Hwangso Gopchang in Konkuk University Area

Recently, I had a craving for Sinchon Hwangso Gopchang, which I had previously enjoyed in Gangnam. So, I decided to visit their directly managed branch in the Konkuk University area.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have so many locations! It's a relief knowing I don't have to go all the way to Sinchon to satisfy my craving.
The gopchang itself is so rich and flavorful that it's delicious even without sauces or seasonings. That's what I really liked about it.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with that familiar, comforting aroma of gopchang. Plus, the staff were incredibly attentive, readily providing everything I needed, making for a very comfortable dining experience.
In the end, I finished my meal feeling happy and satisfied.
The Konkuk University branch of 60-Year Tradition Sinchon Hwangso Gopchang isn't just about the taste; it also boasts a comfortable atmosphere. It's perfect for a casual meal with friends or even a daytime drink.
The delicious smell already made my heart flutter.
I love that they're open from 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM every day, making it easy to visit for lunch or dinner.
I believe the foundation of delicious gopchang lies in the freshness of the ingredients and the way it's cooked.
Comparing the Konkuk University and Gangnam branches, the main difference was the menu.
The Gangnam branch offered Special Korean Beef Gopchang, providing a wider selection, while the Konkuk University branch focused primarily on the standard Korean Beef Hwangso Gopchang.
Next time, I'm planning to order at least three servings to fully enjoy the rich flavor of the gopchang.
This place is one of my favorite gopchang restaurants, and it never disappoints.
I only ordered two servings this time for a light meal, but the sizzling sound on the grill was so exciting! I brought a generous amount of garlic from the self-serve bar and grilled it together. The aroma of the savory garlic oil was amazing.
Eating gopchang with a piece of garlic – that's happiness right there.
The thickness of the gopchang seemed to vary slightly at times, but the taste was still consistently satisfying.
