Satisfying My Hunger After the Museum at Neungdong Water Parsley (Minari) Shinyongsan Branch
After visiting the National Museum of Korea, I needed to satisfy my hunger. So, I headed to Neungdong Water Parsley (Minari) Shinyongsan Branch.
This place has been famous for its long waiting lines, but I really wanted to try it because of the unique combination of water parsley (minari) and Gomtang (beef bone soup).
Located on the 1st and 2nd floors at 28, Hangang-daero 40-gil, Yongsan-gu, this restaurant exudes a popular-restaurant vibe right from the entrance.

When you think of Gomtang, soju usually comes to mind first, but since it was humid, we enjoyed a refreshing beer before the Gomtang arrived.
Neungdong Water Parsley Gomtang
The Gomtang broth was clear, light, yet rich in flavor.
The generous amount of water parsley (minari) on top was fragrant and crunchy, giving it a unique charm that sets it apart from regular Gomtang.
Caution: May cause trypophobia
Adding a little of the fermented seafood (Jeotgal) that comes with it to the Gomtang enhances the savory flavor and made it really delicious.
Thanks to the aroma of water parsley (minari), the Gomtang was clean and fresh.
The combination when eaten with the fermented seafood (Jeotgal) is the best!
Refills of rice were free!
