Romantic Night at Yeosu: Delicious Seafood and Stunning Views at Yeosu Nangman Pocha Street!

When you think of Yeosu's night sea, doesn't the romantic Pocha (street food stall) Alley come to mind?
I highly recommend Yeosu Nangman Pocha Street as a must-visit course when you come to Yeosu!
This time, among the many pochas, I visited 'Yeosu Haenyeo House,' which has a striking charm, and enjoyed Nakji Horong (skewered baby octopus) and a refreshing bowl of Mulhoe (spicy raw fish soup).
I had a very special meal in an atmosphere harmonized with the sea.
I've included detailed information and honest reviews, so if you have a trip to Yeosu planned, read on!
Yeosu Nangman Pocha is close to Yeosu Expo Station and conveniently accessible by taxi.
There are also photo zones!
This is the atmosphere of Nangman Pocha Street~
There was even a small busking performance. You can really feel the Yeosu vibe, right?
Personally, I recommend arriving in the evening to enjoy the sunset before dining.
I also enjoyed the Hamel Lighthouse before and after sunset and enjoyed the sea to my heart's content.
Even though it was a hot summer, there was a cool breeze, and I had a relaxing time~
The area near Pocha Street is beautifully lit and well-decorated for a stroll, so you can take memorable photos before or after your meal.
Next time, I want to try the cruise or cable car~
You can use the nearby public parking lot for parking, so it's definitely possible to bring a car.
You can park briefly on the side of the road, but there aren't many spaces, so it's best to plan your time in advance!
We also parked on the side of the road after some difficulty, and as we walked toward the cable car in the distance, we arrived at Nangman Pocha Street!
Yeosu Haenyeo House is located in the center of Pocha Street, so it wasn't hard to find.
From the front, the cute sign hanging on the wall and the warm lighting welcome guests. It's really cute and friendly.
Yeosu Haenyeo House is also famous for its unique refreshing atmosphere and friendly service.
There are various menus, which were similar to other stores!
There weren't many places with fresh raw fish, so I chose Yeosu Haenyeo House!!
There was a menu on the outside of the stall, so I checked it and came in, haha.
The side dishes and the ordered highball and drinks came out first!
The highball felt like whiskey on the rocks, lol.
Ah! One tip is that most of the stores in Yeosu Nangman Pocha offer food delivery in addition to direct visits.
Of course, I wanted to experience the atmosphere on-site, so I went in person, but if you want to relax and have fun with your hometown friends at a guesthouse, try using delivery.
Also, I felt that the side dishes provided as a basic were all neat and tidy, which was a good point.
The inside of the store was crowded with people, haha.
Kya, the Pocha vibes are so good!
The playful owner went around the tables and joked about who was eating and who wasn't, as if asking if they were dieting, lol.
While doing that, he stirred and checked to see if the ramen or soup dishes were being cooked deliciously~
Tsundere style confirmed! lol
I ordered 'Mulhoe' and 'Nakji Horong'!
From the visuals, they exuded a different force.
Mulhoe, kya~~
It's Mulhoe with various seafood.
When we asked them to change it to raw fish, they gladly did so~!! haha
They originally don't do it, but they said they did it because they had a little more raw fish than usual~~
I guess it won't be possible next time? haha
In particular, the Mulhoe was filled with large pieces of fresh raw fish, and the sweet and sour soup, which combined various vegetables and chewy raw fish, made my appetite soar!!!!
The spicy, salty, sweet, and sour flavors of Mulhoe were a truly golden ratio, lol.
The vegetables were also crunchy, kya!!
The freshness of the raw fish and vegetables was the best~~
The Nakji Horong that came out next was truly a visual explosion!!!
The staff kindly told me how to eat the grilled octopus skewers~
They said to lower the octopus on the skewer to the end with tongs and eat it in one bite! Oh~~
I took a bite of the octopus, and I can't forget the moment when the sweet and spicy sauce came out, filling it with savory flavorㅠㅠ
It was chewy but also soft, so it felt like it was meltingㅠㅠ
And because Pocha Street itself is very popular, there was a relatively crowded feeling, but I could spend time admiring the surrounding night view or the lighthouse atmosphere while waiting, so I didn't really care haha.
Yeosu Haenyeo House, which I confidently want to recommend to both first-time visitors to Yeosu and those who are familiar with it!
Nakji Horong and Mulhoe were truly a special taste that you can only experience here, and it went well with the summer night with a gentle breeze.
If you are a traveler who is worried about finding food that suits your taste, you will be satisfied, so I highly recommend visiting it at least once.
Next time, I want to try other menus.
Everyone, have a special time with Yeosu Nangman Pocha Street!
