This is a review of my visit to Loop Dogs.

Please note that this is a highly personal opinion.

We searched for a dog café as we were stuck at home with our puppy on a chilly day.

After looking for a place with both indoor and outdoor spaces, we decided to visit Loop Dogs, which had numerous positive reviews.

Our criteria were a dog-friendly café with an outdoor area, not too far from home.

Here’s a picture of our puppy, who woke up and left the house in a daze.

???? Location & Basic Information

Located in a quiet alley near Haenggung-dong, Suwon

3rd floor of the building (rooftop structure)

Parking available in the building or nearby public parking lots

???? It can be a bit tricky to find as it’s in an alley that may make you wonder, "Is this the right place?"

We had some trouble finding it using Naver Maps.

Parking was a challenge, so we opted for a paid parking lot.

It’s on the second floor of a building in the alley.

We accessed it via stairs.

???? Overall Atmosphere

✔️ Rooftop + Indoor Mixed Structure

Outdoor terrace (feels like a playground) + indoor café vibe

The rooftop is the highlight when the weather is nice.

✔️ Clean and pleasant atmosphere

While the overall facilities need better maintenance, it has a nice aesthetic for photos (it looks better from a distance).

After ordering drinks and entering, there’s no separate admission fee for dogs.

There are pads, plastic bags, deodorants, and trash cans available throughout the space.

Male dogs must wear a manners belt.

There are two large rooms, and one floor up is the rooftop.

The tiled floor in the rooms made it a bit slippery for the dogs to play.

There’s a space to dress up dogs for photos, but the available outfits were slightly worn and limited in size.

Nevertheless, I managed to change our puppy into several outfits for pictures.

???? Dog Admission & Facilities

✔️ Admission Restrictions

Primarily for small to medium-sized dogs under 15kg

✔️ Play Area

Dogs can run freely on the rooftop.

There are resting areas indoors as well.

While the indoor space is relatively good, the rooftop needs better upkeep.

✔️ Convenience

The spacious area feels comfortable.

Dogs can naturally interact with each other.

???? A great alternative to a walk (the lack of a dog admission fee is a major advantage).

We had some drinks in the room on the second floor and then went up to the rooftop to play.

Hygiene supplies for dogs were available, and the restroom was clean.

☕ Menu & Prices

✔️ Café + Light meals/snacks available

✔️ Drinks + Treats available

✔️ Prices are average for dog cafés (not overly expensive)

???? There are sometimes service events (like dog lattes) if you make a reservation.

???? Summary of Advantages

Great for dogs to run around on the rooftop.

Both indoor and outdoor spaces minimize the impact of weather.

Clean and aesthetic atmosphere.

Conveniently located near Haenggung-dong walking paths.

I took as many photos as I could with the limited outfits available.

While I enjoyed my drink, our puppy took a brief rest on my lap.

Wearing a dinosaur outfit and stepping into oversized shoes, our puppy looked quite displeased.

After a moment of composure, we explored Loop Dogs.

The floor was slippery!

There were various spots for taking photos.

Despite their beauty, our puppy didn’t photograph well.

Usually, I’d love to try on different outfits.

It was more uncomfortable than it looked.

Our puppy’s expression was quite sad.

As we changed outfits, our puppy grew more reluctant.

I offered some treats to soothe them, but they still looked grumpy.

Now our puppy is insisting it’s time to go home.

???? As you climb the stairs, you reach the rooftop.

The rooftop has artificial grass, making it great for dogs to play.

However, maintenance in some corners is lacking.

???? Disadvantages

It’s difficult to find due to the alley location.

During peak times, it can be crowded with people/dogs.

There are restrictions for large dogs.

Some decorative items on the rooftop are a bit messy.

???? Final Thoughts

???? "A rooftop dog café that combines walking, café, and playground all in one." Especially suitable for:

✔️ Active dogs

✔️ Gatherings with friends

✔️ Weekend outings

In these cases, the satisfaction level is quite high.
