Recommended Private Room BBQ Restaurant in Sangnam-dong, Changwon

To celebrate my grandmother's birthday, we dined at a private room BBQ restaurant in Sangnam-dong, Changwon. The Hanwoo beef grilled on a stone plate was not only delicious but visually stunning as well.
The diverse selection of side dishes made it an excellent choice for gatherings and company dinners.

Parking is conveniently located right next to the restaurant, making it easy to arrive without much walking.
The restaurant is situated on the first floor of a stylish building and is already well-known in Sangnam-dong.
Although many customers were present, we had made a reservation for a private room. The walls of the restaurant featured many private rooms, making it a popular choice for those seeking privacy.
The room we were shown to was very accommodating, even providing a high chair for toddlers.
2. Side Dishes
The menu offers set meals as well as a variety of individual cuts. A good selection of drinks, including highballs and other alcoholic beverages, complemented the meals.
We chose first-grade Hanwoo beef and the side dishes were quickly served alongside the charcoal grill.
The quality of the side dishes was impressive, and they were not too salty, making it a great place to bring elder family members.
We started with a delicious mung bean jelly appetizer that was nutty and chewy. Even with just one dish, we could tell the quality of the restaurant.
The fresh vegetable wraps with sesame seeds were delightful, and the seasoning was mild enough to enhance the meat's flavor without overpowering it.
3. Self-Service Corner
When the beautifully marbled sirloin arrived, it was presented elegantly. Everyone commented on the quality of the Hanwoo.
As soon as it hit the grill, it cooked quickly without any splattering, thanks to the efficient ventilation.
The sirloin had just the right amount of fat, making it incredibly tender. Dipping it in a light Maldon salt enhanced its flavor remarkably.
The wasabi served was not the typical watered-down kind; it had a nice kick that complemented the meat perfectly.
We also enjoyed wrapping the seasoned garlic in the pickled greens, which created a wonderful burst of flavors in the mouth.
We added some brisket midway through our meal, and the freshness of the vegetables paired excellently with the grilled meat.
4. Recommended Dishes
We ordered additional sides and found that all the dishes were well-prepared. The raw beef dish was moist and tender, making it a perfect accompaniment to drinks.
For our main course, we tried the soybean paste rice and galbitang (beef rib soup), which were generous in portion. The soybean paste rice was prepared fresh, with Hanwoo, tofu, zucchini, and onions cooked together.
One spoonful revealed the rich flavor of the broth absorbed by the rice, making it an excellent finish to the meal.
The galbitang had three large rib bones, and the price was reasonable, especially with the included rice.
The meat easily separated from the bones and the broth was wonderfully refreshing. A sprinkle of pepper made it a nourishing dish.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the private room BBQ restaurant in Sangnam-dong, Changwon, celebrating my grandmother's birthday. The high-quality Hanwoo and well-paired sides made it a favorite among our family.
Seeing that they also offer first-grade pork, we plan to return for some samgyeopsal (pork belly) next time.
