Recommended Local Eatery Near Jeju Airport: Gokuksu
Upon arriving in Jeju, my stomach was growling for food.
A local friend recommended Gokuksu, a must-try if you're in the area.
I rushed over to fill my belly, and I was not disappointed!

The parking situation is great too, with ample space available right in front of the restaurant, which is perfect for novice drivers like me.
The interior of the restaurant has a cozy and charming atmosphere, reminiscent of a high-end Korean dining experience.
The large windows offer a beautiful view of a lush pond, creating a peaceful environment that feels surprising in the heart of the city.
Gokuksu offers both table and floor seating, making it suitable for families with children or elderly parents.
They also provide thoughtful amenities like baby chairs and a self-service corner.
The menu includes a variety of Gokuksu options, and I ordered a set meal for two that was both delicious and affordable.
The basic side dishes of Napa cabbage kimchi, white kimchi, and pickled greens complemented the main dish perfectly.
The noodles were handmade, with a delightful texture that was neither too thick nor too thin.
The broth was rich and flavorful, embodying the essence of traditional Jeju noodles without being greasy.
The bibim-guksu (spicy mixed noodles) was refreshing, sweet, and mildly spicy, adding a delightful crunch with fresh vegetables.
The Dombae meat was tender and juicy, paired with a spicy octopus salad that was simply irresistible.
