I've been visiting Munjeong Station often due to its convenient parking. Recently, I craved dakgalbi cooked on a hot plate and decided to visit Hangari Dakgalbi and Buckwheat Noodles, a well-known restaurant in the area.
This place is famous for both lunch and dinner, making it a popular choice for company gatherings. Located between Munjeong Station and Jangji Station, it's easily accessible by public transportation. If driving, you can enjoy 2 hours of free parking, making it convenient for dining.
The building is spacious, but the parking lot can get crowded. Enter through GATE 3 and park in Zone B on the first basement floor for easy access. If you park on the second basement floor, head towards the C shopping area.

They also offer udon noodles, ramen, mozzarella cheese, rice cakes, and sweet potato as add-ons, allowing for a variety of dakgalbi flavors to choose from.
The interior of the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, possibly the largest dakgalbi restaurant I've visited. During my lunch visit, I noticed some patrons enjoying drinks and many couples on dates.
The self-service corner offers unlimited vegetables for wraps, which is perfect for someone like me who loves them. The refreshing dongchimi (radish water kimchi) served as a side dish was delightful, and I also helped myself to perilla leaves, lettuce, and bean sprouts from the self-service bar.
I ordered two servings of Hangari Spicy Dakgalbi, which comes in generous portions of 250g per serving, significantly more than other dakgalbi places. The boneless chicken made it easy to cook without burning it. Since there weren't too many customers, the staff occasionally checked on the dakgalbi, but it seemed like a self-cooking style.
Now, it's time to wrap the dakgalbi and enjoy! I ordered the spicy version since I love spicy food, but it wasn't overwhelmingly hot, which was a pleasant surprise. The seasoning wasn't too strong, aligning perfectly with my taste as I prefer not too sweet or salty dishes.
There was no unpleasant chicken smell, and the unlimited vegetable wraps were a great bonus. I was thrilled to have found such a gem at Munjeong Station. After enjoying delicious dakgalbi, I can't wait to return whenever I'm in Songpa. Next time, I’ll have to try the buckwheat noodles as well.
